Government launches public reporting system (Safety e-Report App) for four different types of parking and stopping violations
The government is launching a public reporting system using the Safety e-Report App on May 1 to crack down on long-held illegal parking/stopping habits and practices.
If you follow the reporting instructions and report a case correctly, fines will be levied to offenders without a separate on-site investigation.
- Enforcement Date: May 1 (Wed), 2019
- Operating Hours: Available 24 hours a day, you must take photos at the same location with a 1-minute interval
- Eligible Offenses: Parking/stopping near fire hydrants, bus stops, corners of intersections, crosswalks
