◯ (Enforcement Details) Speed limit will be lowered to 50km or 30km in select downtown areas with high pedestrian traffic (Guwol-dong/Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu; Juan-dong, Michuhol-gu, etc.)
- (Trial operation) October 2019
- (Full operation) All roads across Incheon by 2021 (target)
◯ (Legal basis) Article 19 (Speed of Automobiles, etc. and Street Cars) of the Enforcement Rules of the Road Traffic Act
- Default speed limit within urban zones set to 50km/h (Amended in April 2019, enforcement on April 17, 2021)
◯ (Trial zone) Baekbeom-ro - Hopogu-ro - Maesohol-ro - Gyeongwon-daero (8㎢)
- Road sections with high traffic accident rates were selected from public office clusters, the Incheon Terminal, commercial district (Rodeo street), etc. with high pedestrian traffic
