Seoul Metropolitan Government has designated the inside of Fortress Wall of Seoul (8 Dongs of Jongno-gu, 7 Dongs of Jung-gu, 16.7㎢) as a 'Green Transportation Zone' to improve urban air quality, and enforced regular operation restriction on Nation Vehicle Emission Class 5 vehicles as below.

ㅇEnforcement Period : Test operation (from July 1, 2019), penalty charges (from December 1, 2019)
ㅇ Enforcement Time : Every day from 06 to 21:00 (including weekends and holidays)
                250,000 KRW penalty per day when violating
ㅇ Location of Green Transportation Area
 Jongno-gu (eight Dongs): Cheongunhyoja-dong, Sajik-dong, Samcheong-dong, Gahoe-dong, Jongno 1-4 ga- dong, Jongro 5-6 ga-dong, Ihwa-dong, Hyehwa-dong
Jung-gu(7 Dongs): Sogong-dong, Hoehyeon-dong, Myeong-dong, Pil-dong, Jangchung-dong, Gwanghui-dong, Euljiro-dong
ㅇ Regulation Delay
  ·Vehicles applying for low pollution measures until the end of October 2019: Until June 2020
