What is a Hero? That’s Right, a Hero. You have become heroes. 

Now, listen carefully to what the mayor has to say. 

A hero isn’t someone with high status or a lot of wealth.

 A hero is someone who plays a role in helping others in society.

Our heroes of today include figures like Ahn Jung-geun, 

who sacrificed for our country, and Admiral Yi Sun-sin. 

They are all heroes. But beyond these famous individuals, 

anyone who works for others is a hero. 

That’s why receiving the Safety Heroes appointment certificate is so significant.

It’s not just about receiving a certificate and alerting the community 

to potential dangers to help those in need. 

It’s also about building confidence that you work for society. 

This is very important for your future.

Taking a photo with the mayor gives you confidence. 

That photo is a source of confidence for you, and if you carry this mindset through life, 

you will surely lead a successful life. This is the message I want to give you.

Success in life means becoming a person who benefits the world. 

It’s not just about maintaining safety or making a lot of money.
