Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor: Yoo Jeong-bok) and Incheon Tourism Organization (CEO: Hyeon Baig) are hosting the “All Nights INCHEON Festival” to light up the night sky. The Festival gets underway at the Songdo Central Park on October 29 (Sun) between 18:00 and 22:00.

The event will feature a 360° media façade show using lasers at the Tri-bowl building, which boasts one of the most unique designs in Songdo. The show will feature “The light of INCHEON,” which tells the brilliant history of Incheon as an urban center from its very beginning when the City emerged from the Yellow Sea and all the way to the day Incheon opened its gates to foreign powers, and “Strange screenscape of the city” by artist Nsyme, which captures Incheon’s “sunset, city, and space” using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Visitors can also meet a giant edition – an 8m balloon - of Incheon's official mascot “Bumy” inspired by a species of spotted seals found off the coast of Baengnyeongdo Island seal. Central Park itself will feature some beautiful light fixtures to create a special ambiance in the evening.

During the Festival period, Incheon will offer a wide variety of events and activities across Songdo at night. Starting with an outdoor performance at the Tri-bowl on October 7 (Sat), the Festival will host a busking concert led by local bands from Incheon at the Central Park Lawn Square on October 14, 21, and 28 (all Saturdays) from 19:00.

Moreover, visitors will get a chance to shop at the Songdo Night Market and get coupons for some of the best hotels and stores in Songdo, and a social media event inviting travelers to visit and post their activities at various local attractions. Director Kim Chung-jin of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau at Incheon said, “With our romantic and fantastic Garden of Light program, the Festival will be a great way for everyone to come and enjoy a beautiful night out in Incheon thanks to all the interesting music and sophisticated media art performance.” He added, “Head over to Incheon, which could be more fun at night, enjoy the cool autumn breeze and make some unforgettable memories.”
