The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) will conduct gas facility safety inspections from August 26 to September 6 in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.

In this inspection, the IFEZ will target 28 public facilities that use city gas above a certain scale. The inspection will cover:

△ Verifying normal operation of gas shut-off devices

△ Inspecting for harmful and dangerous factors and signs of potential risks

△ Confirming compliance with various statutory inspections

The IFEZ plans to immediately rectify minor issues on-site during this inspection. For major issues, they will swiftly take administrative measures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

The 425th regular concert of the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, <2024 Classic Now I> with bassoonist Sungkwon You, will be held on Friday, September 6th, at 7:30 PM at the Art Center Incheon Concert Hall.

<Classic Now> is a concert series that introduces young musicians who are currently gaining attention in the global classical music scene to Incheon. It is highly popular not only among Incheon citizens but also classical music enthusiasts nationwide.

This performance, conducted by Lee Byeong-wook, the artistic director and principal conductor of the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, will feature Sungkwon You, who is writing a new history of Korean wind instruments by joining as the principal bassoonist of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21.

Incheon Cultural Foundation Announces Open Call for <2024 Incheon Art Bank Collection>


The Incheon Cultural Foundation will be conducting an open call for the <2024 Incheon Art Bank Collection> from Tuesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 20th, 2024.

The Incheon Art Bank Collection open call is part of the Incheon Art Revitalization Project, aimed at promoting creative activities of visual artists in Incheon.

This open call has a total budget of 100 million won and plans to purchase various genres of artworks including Korean painting, Western painting, calligraphy, sculpture, printmaking, fine crafts, photography, installation art, and media art.
