IFEZ is intensifying its efforts to secure drivers of future growth through aggressive investment attraction, the enhancement of high-tech industrial clusters, and the development of sustainable development strategies.
In the first half of this year, the IFEZ successfully secured meaningful investments, marking a strong start. It is now accelerating the expansion of the Free Economic Zone to support future growth and sustainable development.
An IFEZ official stated, "By expanding our investment territory, enhancing high-tech industrial clusters, and formulating future strategies, IFEZ will play a crucial role in Incheon's leap towards becoming a global top 10 city."
5th Incheon-Tianjin International Environmental Forum Successfully Held
Incheon Metropolitan City successfully hosted the 5th Incheon-Tianjin International Environmental Forum on September 4th at Incheon National University's Songdo Campus.
Since the agreement signed between Incheon City and Tianjin University in 2016, the forum has been held alternately each year, continuing to foster research collaboration and exchange in the field of environmental studies.
This year's forum, themed "Sustainable Environment, Shared Future," brought together experts from both countries in the fields of climate, air quality, and environmental studies. They presented 13 research papers, shared their experiences, and sought solutions to environmental challenges.

Incheon International Airport Corporation successfully hosted the World Aviation Conference 2024, a major global platform for aviation industry experts, on September 3-4 at the Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon.
Now in its 7th year, this year’s conference was held under the theme "The Age of Uncertainty: Innovation and Challenges for the Thrive of the Aviation Industry."
An official from Incheon International Airport Corporation stated, "Based on the insights and lessons learned from each session, we will explore sustainable growth strategies for Incheon International Airport and the aviation industry."

Since wild raccoons have been spotted in the parks of Songdo International City, Incheon, authorities are advising residents to exercise caution.

According to Incheon Facilities Corporation, there have been several reports from citizens about raccoon sightings in Central Park and Haedoji Park in Yeonsu-gu, Songdo-dong.
To prevent potential issues, the Incheon Facilities Corporation, which manages the large parks in the Songdo area, has put up banners outlining safety precautions.
The corporation advised, "Do not touch or feed wild animals, and avoid approaching them. When walking pets, please stay away from dense underbrush and ensure pets are on a leash to prevent contact with wildlife."
