Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra’s <Classic Now>, which spotlights promising young musicians in classical music, will hold its second concert on November 8, 2024, at the Art Center Incheon Concert Hall.
The concert will feature the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra with young cellist Moon Tae-guk, a rising star in Korean classical music. The program will open with Debussy's <Clair de Lune>, originally a piano piece, now arranged for orchestra to offer the audience a unique musical experience.
Celebrating Pregnant Women’s Day with Music in Incheon
On October 31st, Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association will host the 19th Pregnant Women’s Day event and the ‘Prenatal Music Concert’ at the Incheon Art Center.
Pregnant Women’s Day, celebrated annually on October 10th, seeks to spread positive awareness about pregnancy and childbirth, tackle the issue of low birth rates, and cultivate a caring social atmosphere for pregnant women.

Incheon Traditional Market Goods and Food in One Place
From October 25th to 27th, Incheon Metropolitan City will host the 13th Incheon Regional Product Exhibition, a premier traditional market festival, at the north plaza of Dongincheon Station.
This annual event, now in its 13th year, promotes the excellent products of local traditional markets and aims to revitalize these markets.
Hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and organized by the Incheon Merchants Association, this event will feature 40 outstanding traditional markets, with over 70 booths displaying and selling various products. The event will include a wide array of food stalls and promotional activities for local specialties.
Incheon Schools to Use Cooking Robots for Meal Preparation
The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education announced the first use of ‘Incheon-Style School Meal Cooking Robots’ at Inhwa Girls' Middle School.
The new robots include a dedicated stir-fry robot and a multifunctional robot capable of frying, making soups, and preparing stews. These robots aim to reduce the workload of cooking staff and prevent injuries like burns during high-temperature cooking.
According to a representative from the Incheon City Office of Education, these advanced cooking robots are expected to enhance workers' health and improve efficiency in the kitchen, marking a step forward in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
