Inha University Establishes ‘Hawaii-Inha Park’ to Mark 70th Anniversary

Inha University has created the ‘Hawaii-Inha Park’ on campus to honor Korean residents in Hawaii who contributed to the school’s founding, celebrating the university’s 70th anniversary.

The park, located next to the Jeongseok Library on a 2,479 square meter site, features a central sculpture named ‘Inha’s Ascent,’ symbolizing the university’s spirit of global challenge. An Inha representative expressed that the park honors the contributions of Hawaiians of Korean descent, symbolizing their hopes for Korea’s development and the future global impact of Inha graduates.
