Songdo Rock Mountain Signage to Feature Incheon's Theme Colors

The 'INCHEON' signage located on Songdo Rock Mountain will adopt Incheon's theme colors starting from the 18th.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that after removing the existing landscape lighting which had been out of operation due to facility breakdown, they will begin operating new lighting facilities featuring eight themes using Incheon's colors starting today (18th) at 6 PM.

The signage is strategically located where it can be viewed head-on by users of the Second Gyeongin Expressway when arriving from Incheon Airport and Seohae-daero 94th Street, making it highly effective for promoting Incheon's city brand to both domestic and international visitors.

Considering nighttime vehicle and pedestrian traffic hours, Incheon City plans to operate the landscape lighting from 6-11 PM. Through a one-month trial operation until the end of December, the city will inspect maintenance-related matters and finalize the lighting effects.

46th Incheon Green Climate Academy to be Held on the 19th

The '46th Incheon Green Climate Academy', aimed at strengthening local communities' understanding and response capabilities regarding the climate crisis and carbon neutrality, will be held tomorrow (19th) as a real-time online lecture.

The 'Incheon Green Climate Academy' is an educational program focused on building capacity for implementing carbon neutrality in the era of climate crisis. Hosted by Incheon City and the Incheon Carbon Neutral Research Support Center, Professor Lee Tae-dong from Yonsei University's Department of Political Science and International Studies will lecture on the topic of 'Climate Adaptation Living Lab for Citizen Participation'.

The Incheon City Theater Company is reviving last year's highly successful classic play "A Christmas Carol" for the Christmas season.

Tickets for the Incheon City Theater Company's 93rd regular performance of "A Christmas Carol," which will remind audiences of the spirit of Christmas and deliver a warm message of hope, are priced at 20,000 won for all seats. The Joy of Finding Hidden Gems: Searching for Incheon's Future Representative Artists!

Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Cultural Foundation have launched a special promotional campaign to showcase Incheon's young artists.

From Thursday, November 21st to Sunday, November 24th, they will operate exhibition booths featuring young visual artists selected through the "Art·T Incheon" open call at 'Incheon Art Show 2024'.

"Art·T Incheon" consists of pop-up exhibitions in everyday spaces such as cafes and bookstores that citizens can easily visit, conversations with artists over Tea (Talk), and one-day art Tours visiting various art spaces throughout Incheon.

An Incheon Cultural Foundation official stated, "We expect this young artists' exhibition to bring new vitality to the local art scene."
