The Incheon Metropolitan Autonomous Police Committee has produced a promotional video to mark Child Abuse Prevention Day on November 19.


The video, created in an animated format, focuses on how children can respond to abusive situations from their perspective, making it easy and engaging to understand.


It will be used as an educational resource in kindergartens and elementary schools through collaboration with the Incheon Office of Education, helping children learn how to handle potentially abusive scenarios.




Incheon Proposes Public Design Solutions for Urban Revitalization


Incheon has reviewed the effectiveness of its “Urban Design Revitalization Project” over the past decade and introduced a new strategy called “Urban Design Revitalization 2.0.”


Launched in 2014, the initiative transitioned from a government-led model to a collaborative approach involving universities, businesses, and residents to address local issues through workshops and partnerships.


An Incheon official emphasized the city’s commitment to exploring diverse design projects to create a happier and more citizen-friendly urban environment.







Incheon Cultural Foundation Hosts Workshop for Arts Educators


In collaboration with the Incheon Cultural Foundation, the city will hold a workshop titled “How Did I Play Back Then?” on December 6 at the Incheon Living Culture Center.


Targeted at arts educators, planners, and artists, the workshop focuses on the theme of “play” in children’s arts education, encouraging participants to reconnect with their creative instincts.


Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and detailed information is available on the foundation’s website.





Incheon to Host ‘Resource Circulation Academy’


Incheon will hold a “Resource Circulation Academy” to promote proper understanding of resource management and improve public awareness of resource circulation centers.


Open to the general public, including middle and high school students, the academy will address waste management under the theme, “Call It Trash, But Read It as a Resource.”


The program will kick off in Bupyeong-gu on November 26, followed by Jung-gu on December 2, and expand to other districts next year.
