Treasure Island Project 1: ‘Incheon i-Bada Pass’ Officially Launches

Incheon Metropolitan City, under the leadership of Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok, will officially launch the nation’s first-ever ‘Incheon i-Bada Pass’ in January 2025, allowing all citizens to travel on passenger ferries at city bus fares.

Incheon residents can use passenger ferries for a one-way fare of 1,500 KRW, equivalent to the city bus fare. Non-residents will also benefit from increased support, with fare subsidies rising from 50% to 70%, allowing them to pay only 30% of the standard fare.

The Children’s Zoo has been closed for facility repairs since late November, and this decision extends the closure period. It will remain closed until the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs downgrades the current avian influenza crisis alert from the “Severe” level.
