Special Transport Plans for Lunar New Year in Incheon 


As the Lunar New Year approaches, Incheon is taking proactive steps to ensure that holiday travelers have a smooth and safe journey. 

From January 24 to February 2, the city will enhance transport services by conducting vehicle inspections, increasing the capacity of express buses, coastal ferries, and subways, and operating a special task force. 

This is expected to benefit the roughly 287,967 who use public transport in Incheon each day during the holiday.




Incheon Allocates 1.535 Trillion Won to Aid SMEs in 2025 


The Incheon Metropolitan City has announced a significant increase in support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), raising the total funding to 1.535 trillion won this year, supported by a 65 billion won project budget. 

This increase, up by 200 billion won from last year's 1.335 trillion won, aims to assist local businesses in navigating high-interest rate challenges. 

Applications for the SME support fund can be submitted through the BizOK system starting January 20.




Incheon Expands Citizen Safety Insurance Benefits 


Incheon is enhancing the "Citizen Safety Insurance" to provide greater coverage and higher limits for its three million residents. 

The Incheon Metropolitan City announced this expansion, reflecting feedback from residents, to offer more substantial benefits. 

The decision follows a survey conducted in August and aims to deliver real advantages to the public. 

Citizens can file insurance claims within three years of an incident, regardless of where it occurred, as long as they were Incheon residents at the time.






Sudogwon Landfill to Accept Waste on January 27 Amid Lunar New Year Holiday


The Sudogwon Landfill Site Management Corporation has stated that waste will be specially accepted on January 27, a temporary public holiday, to prevent a backlog during the Lunar New Year holiday from January 25 to January 30. 

The waste acceptance hours will be from 6 AM to 4 PM, as usual. For more information, please refer to the waste customer service center.
