Incheon City Strengthens Support for Single Men and Women in Dating and Marriage to Overcome Low Birthrate


Incheon City is strengthening its policies to overcome the low birthrate, extending support from marriage preparation to childbirth and child-rearing.

The city plans to launch the "i Plus Meeting Dream" program in June, which will support dating and marriage for young people.

The program targets single men and women aged 24 to 39 who live or work in Incheon. It will offer meeting opportunities for 100 participants per session, with a total of five sessions held throughout the year.

The event will feature various programs, and couples who are successfully formed will receive a small dating coupon as a reward.





Incheon Expands and Relocates the Infertility and Pregnant Women's Counseling Center


Incheon City announced the opening of the Infertility and Pregnant Women's Psychological Counseling Center, which is operated by the Ain Hospital.

The center was selected through a public contest and has expanded its previous role of supporting individuals struggling with infertility and depression. It has now been renamed the "Incheon Infertility and Pregnant Women's Psychological Counseling Center."

The center is equipped with a waiting room, counseling rooms, and program rooms, and offers various programs to help alleviate stress experienced during the infertility treatment process.




Incheon City’s History Revived Digitally


Incheon City will digitize the Incheon city history books published from 1973 to 1993 and post them on the city's e-book website.

Through this project, all volumes of Incheon city history, from the first edition published in 1973 to the most recent edition have been digitized and made available as e-books.

The newly released Incheon city history includes a total of five types and eight books: "Incheon City History Volumes I, II & III," "Incheon City History 1970s Edition," "100 Years of Incheon Port Opening," and "100 Years of Incheon Port in Photos." Through theses, one can gain insight into the vision, policies, and identity of Incheon.






Incheon Port Fee Regulation Revised


Incheon Port Authority (IPA) held a port committee meeting on the 21st and revised regulations related to port facility usage fees.

As a result of this revision, international cruises operating from domestic ports will now be eligible for a 50% discount on ship entry/exit fees, docking fees, and berthing fees.

Additionally, the discount rate for ship entry/exit fees and docking fees for the Korea-China Car ferry service has been reduced from 40% to 30%. The discount rate for rental fees paid by commercial facility operators within the passenger terminal has been adjusted from 100% to 80%.
