Incheon City Designates Two Regional Retirement Support Centers

Incheon City has designated two regional retirement support centers to provide comprehensive assistance for retirement planning.

The city recently selected the Incheon metropolitan city center for aging society and the National Pension Service Namdong-Yeonsu Branch as the regional centers to offer systematic retirement preparation services.

These centers will provide comprehensive individual retirement assessments, along with tailored consultations and various lectures on finance, leisure, health, and interpersonal relationships.

Incheon City to Fully Cover Disaster Insurance Premiums

Incheon City is expanding its support for the "Storm, Flood, and Earthquake Disaster Insurance Premium Support Project."

The project, in collaboration with the General Insurance Association of Korea and the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, will fully cover the self-payment portion of disaster insurance premiums for vulnerable groups.

Eligible recipients include people in disaster-prone areas, traditional market merchants, and small business owners with stores in basements or on the first floor. The disaster insurance helps cover damages from natural disasters like typhoons, floods, and earthquakes.

With this expanded support, vulnerable groups are expected to benefit from disaster insurance without bearing any financial burden.

Incheon City Introduces 'Community Administrative Consultant' Service

Incheon City has announced the launch of the 'Community Administrative Consultant' service, which provides free administrative consultation services to citizens.

Under this system, administrative agents volunteer their expertise to offer consultations on administrative matters, guidance on procedures, and assistance with document preparation.

The service is available to all citizens, including small business owners and sole proprietors operating in Incheon. Consultations can be requested through the Incheon Regional Administrative Attorneys association.

Incheon Songdo Waterfront Phase 1-2 Project Begins in Earnest

The follow-up construction of the Songdo International City Waterfront project, is set to commence.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced that the construction of the Songdo Waterfront will proceed with the goal of completion by February 2027.

This project, with a total budget of 252.2 billion KRW, will connect the northern waterway linking Artificial Lake 6 and Aam Reservoir, along with the creation of waterfront parks.

The project is expected to enhance the city's water circulation system and provide scenic waterfront spaces for residents and visitors alike.
