Incheon to Hold 45th Disability Day Event
Incheon City announced it will hold the “45th Disability Day Celebration” on April 18 at Seonhak Gymnasium.
Disability Day is a national commemorative day established under Article 14 of the Welfare of Disabled Persons Act to promote disability rights, raise awareness about welfare, and support greater social participation. The day has been observed nationwide every year since April 20, 1981.
This year’s event slogan is “Looking at Happiness, Capturing Daily Life, Connecting Hope.” It reflects a message of discovering hope in daily life, encouraging independent living for people with disabilities, and creating a happier society for all.
Incheon’s ‘Find Your Ancestor’s Land’ Service Helps Protect Property Rights
Incheon City’s “Find Your Ancestor’s Land” service continues to receive strong responses each year as it helps residents exercise their property rights.
This administrative service allows people to check national land ownership information registered under their name or their ancestors’ names through cadastral and land records. It helps citizens discover land they didn’t know about and claim their rightful ownership.
To apply, residents must bring their ID and a family register (jejeok-deungbon) for the deceased person. They can visit the City’s Land Information Division or land departments in one of the ten districts.
Incheon Recruiting Companies for 2025 Youth Leap Project
Incheon City is now recruiting capable companies to take part in the “2025 Incheon Youth Leap Project.”
This program offers young job seekers practical training and internship opportunities, helping them connect with promising local companies and transition into full-time employment.
Participants will receive three months of job training followed by a three-month internship. Companies that hire interns will receive salary support of 2.43 million per person per month, totaling 7.29 million.
