이번 캠페인은 유동인구가 많은 영종국제도시 운서역 광장과 송도국제도시 테크노파크역 일대에서 진행되며 유관기관 관계자 50여 명이 참여합니다.

캠페인에서는 시민들에게 △명절 연휴 장기 외출 시 가스안전 관리방법 △과대불판 사용금지 △부탄캔의 화기 근처 보관금지 등 가스안전 수칙을 담은 전단지와 홍보 물품을 배포합니다.

Incheon Economic Agency Holds Gas Safety Campaign Ahead of Chuseok Holiday

The Incheon Free Economic Zone announced that it will hold a gas safety campaign with related organizations on September 17 and 24 ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The campaign will take place at Unseo Station Plaza in Yeongjong International City and Techno Park Station in Songdo International City, with about 50 participants from related organizations.

During the campaign, citizens will receive leaflets and items with safety rules such as ▲gas management during long holidays ▲ban on using oversized grills ▲ban on keeping butane cans near fire.

인천광역시 농업기술센터는 지난 16일 꿀벌연구회 회원20여명을 대상으로 양봉6차산업 선진농가를 찾아가 꿀벌체험프로그램 도입을 위한 현장교육을 추진했다고 밝혔습니다.

꿀벌연구회 회원들은 꿀벌의 생태와 공익적 가치를 시민들에게 알리고 양봉의 부가가치 창출을 위한 6차산업 혁신이 필요하다고 인식하였으나 효율적인 꿀벌체험운영의 비법이 없어 망설이고 있는 실정이었습니다.

이번 현장교육에 참여한 회원들은 꿀벌전시관, 꿀벌학교, 꿀벌체험학습장, 벌꿀가공장 등 꿀벌체험시설을 견학하고 운영사례를 경청하였습니다.

Incheon City Promotes Beekeeping Sixth Industry Field Training

The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center announced that on September 16 it provided field training for about 20 members of the Beekeeping Research Society at advanced farms for the sixth industry of beekeeping.

Members recognized the need for innovation to create added value in beekeeping but had hesitated because they lacked know-how in running bee experience programs.

They visited facilities such as a bee exhibition hall, bee school, bee experience center, and honey processing plant, and listened to cases of operation.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will provide free influenza vaccinations for children, pregnant women, and seniors to prepare for the winter flu season.

Vaccination is recommended together with the COVID-19 vaccine, as the goal is to protect high-risk groups from severe illness.

Vaccination will start on September 22 for children, on September 29 for pregnant women, on October 15 for seniors aged 75 or older, on October 20 for seniors 70 or older, and on October 22 for seniors 65 or older.

Yeonsu-gu Holds Dementia Awareness Week

Yeonsu-gu announced that starting September 19, it will run a ‘Dementia Overcoming Week’ for ten days to mark the 18th Dementia Day.

On September 18, Yeonsu Police Station and about 30 dementia patrol members carried out patrols in Seonhak-dong to prevent missing seniors and promoted safety rules.

Incheon Women’s Welfare Center Recruits Students for 4th Term Education Courses

The Incheon Women’s Welfare Center announced that from September 19 it will recruit students for the ‘2025 fourth-term social education classes.’

The courses will run from October 13 to December 27, with 88 classes in skills, practical training, cultural academy, and short lectures, for a total of 1,608 students.

Any Incheon citizen aged 18 or older can apply, and applications are divided into ‘priority’ and ‘general’ depending on qualifications.
