The most satisfying thing about Songdo, a global city, is ‘safety’ and ‘neighbors,’ who are always friendly. Most of all, because the couple's children, Aisha and Ibrahim, spent their childhood in Incheon, it became their hometown. When they first came to Korea, they originally planned to stay for about a year and return. However, the couple is satisfied with their life in Incheon and planning to stay in Incheon for a few more years.

I often spend time at Triple Street, a complex cultural shopping mall in Songdo International City. I am studying composition because I can feel people's fashion and K-POP with all five senses and get musical inspiration. In particular, the Entertainment Plaza, where cultural and artistic performances are held, and the Sky Observatory, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Songdo, outline the charm of Triple Street.

You can feel the culture and peace of nature at the same time at Soraepo Port. The waves and wind of the calm sea bring peace to me, and the traditional fish market is full of interesting things. I recommend a visit to the Sorae History Museum, where you can learn about the history and growth of this place.

I usually go to Central Park and enjoy the scenery when the weather is nice. There, I enjoy delicious coffee or cake at a cafe with a waterside view and take a rest. I think living near the sea is a true blessing. I feel happy to live in Songdo and enjoy all these things.

세계적인 도시인 송도에서 가장 만족스러운 것은 ‘안전’과 항상 친절한 ‘이웃’입니다. 무엇보다도, 아이들인 아이샤와 이브라힘이 인천에서 어린 시절을 보냈기 때문에, 이곳은 우리의 고향이 되었습니다. 우리가 처음 한국에 왔을 때, 원래 약 1년 정도 머물다가 돌아올 계획이었습니다. 그러나, 저희 부부는 인천에서의 생활에 만족하고 몇 년 더 머물 계획입니다.

개항장은 1883년 인천항을 통해 다양한 문화가 유입된 곳으로, 한국 최초를 자랑하는 다양한 스토리텔링 요소가 풍부합니다. 과거에는 문화해설사가 직접 장소의 의미에 대해 설명했다면, ‘인천e지’는 내 손안에 있는 핸드폰을 누르면 김구 선생님이 눈앞에 나타나 역사를 설명해 주기 때문에 개항장을 더욱 매력적이게 즐길 수 있을 것이라고 생각합니다.

소래포구는 문화와 자연의 평화를 동시에 느낄 수 있다. 잔잔한 바다의 물결과 바람은 나를 평온하게 만들고, 전통적인 어시장에는 흥미로운 것들이 가득하다. 또한 이곳의 역사와 성장을 알아볼 수 있는 소래포구 박물관도 꼭 방문해 보길 바란다.

평소, 날씨가 좋을 때는 센트럴 파크를 방문하여 경치를 즐기고 있다. 그리고 수변이 보이는 카페에서 맛있는 커피나 케이크를 즐기고, 휴식을 취한다. 바다 근처에 사는 것은 정말 축복이라고 생각한다. 송도에서 살고 이 모든 것을 즐길 수 있어 행복을 느낀다.

5년 전 교통사고를 당한 아들의 재활 치료를 위해 귀국했다. 한국 의료진은 의술이 뛰어나고 친절해 환자와 가족 모두에게 안정감을 전달해 준다. 앞으로 인천에서 머물며 새로운 꿈을 빚고 이뤄나갈 것이다.
