English Radio News” on Gyeongin Broadcasting’s iFM. This program is a part of the efforts to foster an English-speaking environment, catering to the growing number of foreign residents since the inception of the Incheon Free Economic Zone in 2003.
The English news will be broadcast three times a day on weekdays - at 8 AM, 10 AM, and 2 PM. Each segment will last for 5 minutes and will be presented first in English, followed by a Korean. The news covers a wide range of topics that are essential for foreign residents living in Incheon, including city policies, living tips, and cultural insights.

Establishment of a Social Safety Net for Suicide Prevention
Incheon City, in collaboration with relevant organizations, is taking steps to establish a social safety net for suicide prevention.
Seven organizations, including the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education and the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, have signed an agreement to create a ‘safe village’ where life is valued. This agreement strengthens their commitment to work together.
For this year, Incheon City has plans to establish 10 safe villages as a pilot project. The city aims to expand this initiative to 125 villages by the year 2027. This is part of their long-term strategy to enhance safety and respect for life in local communities
Incheon City Boys and Girls Choir to Perform Their First Concert
The Incheon City Boys and Girls Choir, which was founded in April, will hold its first regular concert at the Art Center Incheon Concert Hall on the 20th.
The Incheon City Boys and Girls Choir is gaining popularity among Incheon citizens, participating in major city events and visiting concerts with high-quality music.
The first regular concert, “Dream of Tomorrow”, is free of charge for all seats, and you need to make a reservation in advance through the Incheon Cultural Arts Center website.
