인천교통공사는 이달 말까지 인천지하철 1호선 열 여섯개 역과 2호선 열 한 개 역에 무더위 쉼터를 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.

쉼터에는 온열질환 예방을 위해 대형선풍기가 설치되고 부채·물티슈·하늘수 등이 비치됩니다.

공사 관계자는 폭염에 지친 시민들이 지하철역에서 더위를 식힐 수 있도록 쉼터 운영에

Cooling Shelters to Operate on Subway Lines 1 and 2

The Incheon Transit Corporation has announced the operation of ‘cooling shelters’ at 16 stations on Subway Line 1 and 11 stations on Line 2 until the end of this month. These shelters will be equipped with large fans to prevent heat-related illnesses and will provide items such as fans, wet wipes, and bottled water. A representative from the corporation stated, “We will ensure that citizens exhausted by the heat can cool down at the subway stations.

인천시는 시내버스 이용 시민들의 서비스 만족도를 높이기 위해 시내버스 모니터단을 모집·운영한다고 밝혔습니다.

8월5~19일까지 인천시 홈페이지를 통해 100명을 모집하며, 인천시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 시민이면 누구나 신청이 가능하고, 시민 모니터단은 지역, 성별, 나이 등을 고려해 다양한 계층으로 구성·운영합니다.

모니터링 활동 결과는 시내버스 서비스 평가 기초자료, 제도개선 및 친절 기사 선발, 운수종사자 교육 자료 등에 활용할 뿐만 아니라 인천시 버스 행정서비스 개선 정책에도 반영됩니다.

Incheon City Recruiting 100 Members for Bus Service Monitoring Team

Incheon City has announced the recruitment of 100 members for a city bus monitoring team with the aim of improving service satisfaction. 

Applications will be accepted from August 5th to 19th via the Incheon City website. The team will include a diverse range of residents in terms of region, gender, and age. 

The monitoring outcomes will serve as foundational data for bus service evaluations, system improvements, kind driver selection, and worker training, and will also influence bus service policies.

(뉴스용) 연수구 송도건강센터, 텃밭 참가자 모집

인천시 연수구 송도건강생활지원센터가 ‘주민이 직접 참여하고 가꾸는 옥상 치유정원· 한평텃밭’ 2024년 하반기 프로그램 참가자를 모집합니다.

치유정원 프로그램은 다음달 3일부터 11월 5일까지 9회에 걸쳐 매주 화요일 오후 2시에 운영됩니다.

한평텃밭 프로그램은 다음달 5일부터 11월 7일까지 9회로 나눠 목요일 같은 시간 배추·무 등 작물 재배와 재배 작물 수확 및 만들기 프로그램 등으로 진행합니다.

송도건강생활지원센터 관계자는 참여자 스스로 텃밭과 정원을 가꾸는 주민 참여 프로그램 운영 활성화로 민관이 함께 만드는 건강한 지역사회 조성을 위해 노력하겠다라며 구민 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다고 말했습니다.

Participants Needed for Rooftop Healing Garden and Small Garden Program

The Songdo Healthy Living Support Center in Yeonsu District, Incheon, is seeking participants for its ‘Rooftop Healing Garden and Small Garden’ program for the latter half of 2024. 

The Healing Garden program will take place every Tuesday at 2 PM from September 3rd to November 5th, while the Small Garden program will be held every Thursday at the same time from September 5th to November 7th. 

Each program consists of nine sessions and includes activities such as growing and harvesting crops like cabbage and radish, and making products from the harvested crops. 

A representative from the center expressed their commitment to creating a healthy community through resident participation and encouraged residents to take part in the program.

Incheon Hope Forest Created and Transferred to Dashinchilling, Mongolia

Incheon has announced the successful creation and transfer of the ‘Incheon Hope Forest’ in Dashinchilling Sum, Mongolia. Over 60,000 trees were planted as part of a joint effort with the Mongolian government to address desertification and yellow dust. 

This forest, covering 450,000 square meter, was developed between 2013 and 2017 with an investment of over KRW 900 million, representing the second phase of the Hope Forest initiative.
