Individuals suspected of having a COVID-19 infection can receive diagnosis and testing at general medical institutions. If diagnosed as positive and eligible for oral treatment, they can obtain prescriptions and medications at designated hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.

For medication, recipients of medical benefits can receive it free of charge, while those covered by health insurance will incur a co-payment of 50,000 won.




Incheon City Hosts '2024 Incheon Smart City Design Contest' Until August 31


Incheon Metropolitan City has announced the launch of the '2024 Incheon Smart City Design Contest,' under the theme of "Integrating Smart Technology with Public Design for Urban Environment Improvement."

This contest aims to discover innovative ideas that leverage smart technology to enhance public design and services, aligning with Incheon's goal of becoming a world-class city. The contest is organized by Incheon City, hosted by Incheon Smart City Corporation, and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The submission period for the contest is open until August 31, and participation is open to anyone, both domestically and internationally.

An Incheon City official stated, "We hope this contest will uncover fresh ideas that combine smart technology with public design, and we encourage widespread interest and participation from citizens.




ChildFund Korea Supports Summer Camp for Grandparent-Grandchild Families in Incheon


Incheon City has received a donation of 15 million won from the ChildFund Korea’s Incheon branch to support a summer camp for grandparent-grandchild families.

The '1070 Grandparent-Grandchild Summer Camp,' organized by the Gyeyang-gu Family Center, will take 40 grandparent-grandchild families on a two-day, one-night trip to Ganghwa Island from July 20 to 21. The camp will offer various activities and recreational programs designed to provide a healing experience.

Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok stated, "We will continue to work on discovering and connecting with other private resources, in addition to institutional support, to provide sustainable and diverse cultural experiences for single-parent families."




20th Women's Film Festival in Incheon 'Ripening Through Questions and Answers' to Open on September 6


The 20th Women's Film Festival in Incheon will be held at the Cinema Space Juan in Michuhol-gu from September 6 to 8.

The organizing committee announced that this year's festival, themed 'Ripening Through Questions and Answers,' will feature a total of 20 short and feature films. Most of the screenings will include offline discussions between the directors and the audience.

Tickets for all screenings, including the opening and closing films, can only be purchased on-site on the day of the event, and all films will be shown free of charge.
