Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Develops Barefoot Walking Path at Cheongna Lake Park

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority has developed a healing barefoot path at Cheongna Lake Park, allowing visitors to enhance their health and happiness while strolling through the city park. 

The barefoot walking path, made of decomposed granite, stretches 400 meters from the Water Plaza to the lower walkway of the second parking lot and is 2 to 3 meters wide.

The creation of this walking path is expected to enhance citizens' recreational activities and overall quality of life, as well as improve residential conditions in the area.




2024 Incheon Permanent Job Fair Promotes Regional Employment

The 'Incheon Root Company Job Fair,' held on the 27th at the main hall of Incheon City Hall, concluded successfully. 

The fair featured participation from 30 companies and attracted over 500 job seekers.

According to Incheon City, the '2024 Incheon Permanent Job Fair' has supported recruitment for a total of 158 hiring companies so far, resulting in 113 job placements.

The job fair is scheduled to take place on the last Tuesday of every month from March to November this year, excluding July.


 


'New Sino-Korean Cooperation for Togetherness'

Incheon Metropolitan City will host the '2024 INChina Forum International Conference' in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Korea on September 3rd at Songdo Convensia.

The conference, themed 'New Sino-Korean Cooperation for Togetherness,' will feature participation from seven institutions and academic organizations: the Incheon Institute, Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Incheon Tourism Organization, Incheon Institute for Talent and Lifelong Education, Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, Academy of Chinese Studies of Incheon National University, and the Korean Association for Contemporary Chinese Studies. 

The event aims to explore future practical tasks for Sino-Korean relations and the role of Incheon in this transformative era.

The forum will be available for online participation via a YouTube channel that will broadcast the event live, and on-site registration will also be available on the day of the conference.





'2024 Kiaf Incheon Airport Special Exhibition' to be Held at Incheon International Airport

Incheon Airport will host the '2024 Kiaf (Korea International Art Fair) Incheon Airport Special Exhibition' from August 26 to September 22. This exhibition will serve as the first gateway for international visitors arriving in Korea to attend the Kiaf Frieze Seoul 2024, which will be held from September 4 to 8.

Organized by the Galleries Association of Korea, the exhibition will showcase works by leading Kiaf artists and will feature participation from 10 galleries selected through a review process.

The exhibition will take place at the Transportation Center in Terminal 1.
