“2024 Incheon Traditional Culture and Arts Festival” Captures the Charm of Incheon 

Incheon will host the “2024 Incheon Traditional Culture and Arts Festival” at the outdoor performance venue of the Incheon Intangible Cultural Heritage Center on August 31st and September 1st. 

This year’s festival, marking the forth year, will showcase performances from traditional arts groups, artists, and clubs from Incheon all in one place. 

An official from Incheon stated that they hope this festival to be a valuable opportunity to rediscover and enjoy the value of traditional culture together. They look forward to the interest and participation of many citizens. 

Incheon Takes the Lead in Reviving Frozen Consumer Sentiment Ahead of Chuseok Holiday!!

Incheon is organizing various promotional events to revive the frozen consumer sentiment ahead of Chuseok holiday.

This event has been specially planned to alleviate the burden of living costs for citizens, stabilize the lives of the working class, and promote economic recovery, particularly in a situation where prolonged inflation has constrained consumers’ purchasing power and increased the financial burden on vulnerable groups. 

An official from Incheon stated that they expect the Chuseok holiday discount events to reduce the financial burden on households and stimulate consumer spending, thereby revitalizing the local economy. 

Come Visit the Incheon Art Platform this September! 

Incheon Art Platform, operated by the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, will offer a variety of events and performances this September. It includes the community-oriented projects <Friendly Plaza> and <Incheon Art Road>, as well as performances from <Platform Choice>, which were selected through a public contest in July. 

A representative from Incheon Art Platform stated that starting with <Friendly Plaza> and <Incheon Art Road> in September, followed by <Platform Choice> and <Street Art Festival>, they will sequentially present a variety of events every weekend that can be enjoyed with family, friends, and loved ones. They ask for the interest and participation of the citizens. 

Incheon Startup Park, TRYOUT Empirical Program “Wings for Innovative Startups”

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced that it has selected 40 companies to participate in the 2024 TRYOUT public-private empirical program at Incheon Startup Park. 

The “TRYOUT” program is the Incheon Startup Park’s representative empirical program, systematically supporting the commercialization of innovative startup products and services in collaboration with 9 public institutions, 9 private companies, and 7 universities. 

Through the public empirical program, a total of 9 public institutions will collaborate with 26 startups to support the concept using specialized public resources. 

An official from the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) stated that they will strive to make IFEZ the hub for demonstrations of startups by securing additional collaborative institutions and providing continuous support.
