Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award after being selected as an outstanding local government in the 'Local Government Evaluation of Child Policy Implementation Plan' conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, marking its first such recognition in eight years.

The award ceremony was held at the '12th Children's Rights Forum' on December 6th. Incheon City also demonstrated its excellence in child policy by winning the Grand Prize in the 'Local Government Evaluation of Child Protection System' for the second consecutive year on the 3rd.

Incheon City has consistently worked to create an environment where children can grow up healthy and happy by implementing diverse policies aimed at realizing children's rights and promoting their welfare.

Incheon Foundation for Women & Family's Gender Equality Center Holds 'Visiting Gender Equality Education Certification Plaque Ceremony'


The Incheon Gender Equality Center of the Incheon Foundation for Women & Family held a plaque presentation ceremony at Incheon Eungwang School on December 4th for schools participating in the visiting gender equality education program.

The visiting gender equality education program, which began in 2019, has provided education to approximately 16,178 first-year middle school students in Incheon Metropolitan City through cooperation with the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education. This year, from May 8th to October 25th, the program completed education for 1,452 students across 71 classes in 13 schools.





Four Cultural Life Mediators Meet with 500 Incheon Cultural Life Clubs Over Three Years


The Incheon Cultural Foundation will conclude its activities on December 14th through a performance-sharing project, reporting on the activities of approximately 500 teams supported over three years through the 'Cultural Life Club Activity Support Project.'

Cultural life mediators have observed club activities, listened to and supported their concerns, and planned and implemented various cultural life revitalization programs.

The term 'Saeng-Mun-Dong' in 'Warm and Cozy Saeng-Mun-Dong Lounge' stands for "Vibrantly Living Cultural Life Clubs," and 17 clubs will participate in this final sharing project.

The cultural life mediators, who have worked with local cultural life clubs for three years, reported that they were able to witness citizens' passion for art up close and expressed their sincere support for those who enjoy and share cultural life activities.
