Incheon City Officially Launches 'Incheon Community Labor Attorney' Program from February 1st


Incheon City announced that it will officially launch the 'Incheon Community Labor Attorney' program from February 1st to strengthen the protection of citizens' labor rights and support for vulnerable workers.

The 'Incheon Community Labor Attorney' program is designed to provide Incheon citizens with easily accessible legal services to help resolve labor-related issues and promote labor rights in the local community. The program was introduced for the first time this year, particularly to complement the geographical limitations of the Incheon Labor Rights Center and provide practical support for resolving labor issues of non-regular workers and vulnerable workers.

This year, 34 certified labor attorneys from the Incheon region have been appointed and will work throughout Incheon for the next two years, from February 2025 to January 2027.





Incheon City to Provide Student Loan Interest Support for University Students and Graduate Students


Incheon City announced that it will begin accepting applications for student loan interest support for the first half of 2025 from February 3rd to help ease the burden of student loans for university and graduate students.

The student loan interest support program is a system implemented to reduce the financial burden on university students, graduate students, and job seekers.

Applications can be submitted online from 9 AM on February 3rd, 2025, to 6 PM on March 14th, by attaching the required documents on the 'Student Loan Interest Support Application' board on the Incheon City website (www.incheon.go.kr).





Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education's '2025 Future Classroom Selection' Project Draws Attention

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 31st of last month that it has selected 30 schools for the 2025 Future Classroom construction project and will proceed with building future-oriented learning spaces.

According to an official from the Incheon Office of Education, the Future Classroom project, which began in 2019, has completed construction in 235 schools to date, and has achieved high user satisfaction through the participation of teachers, students, and parents.

The Office of Education stated, "We plan to support the selected schools by operating space restructuring capacity-building training, talent pools, and consulting teams."




Incheon Culture and Arts Center Now Accepting Exhibition Hall Reservations Starting April After Renovation

The Incheon Culture and Arts Center is now accepting exhibition hall reservations for the first and second half of 2025 to promote culture and arts and attract high-quality exhibitions by providing space for artistic activities.

According to Incheon City on the 2nd, the rental period is available from April to December this year. The facilities include four exhibition halls: the Main Exhibition Hall (834.4㎡), the Central Exhibition Hall (246.5㎡), the Small Exhibition Hall (318.9㎡), and the Michuhol Exhibition Hall (333.9㎡).

Rental applications will be accepted from 9 AM on February 3rd until 6 PM on March 4th. Individuals or organizations wishing to rent the facilities must check the notices on the Incheon Culture and Arts Center website and download and complete the application form.
