Incheon City is pushing to secure an additional 200,000 parking spaces in the old downtown area by 2030 to resolve parking issues.

The city announced its plan to secure these additional parking spaces and revealed the implementation strategies and key projects to achieve this goal.

The city plans to secure 140,000 spaces through a short-term parking sharing strategy by providing incentives for using auxiliary parking lots at religious facilities, large supermarkets, schools, and public institutions, while also implementing a long-term parking supply strategy to create 60,000 new parking spaces by 2030.

Incheon City Urges HPV Vaccination for Cervical Cancer Prevention

Incheon City has urged eligible recipients to get their Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination during the remaining winter break period.

According to the city, the preventive vaccine is more than 90% effective in preventing major diseases including cervical cancer caused by HPV infection.

It is important to get vaccinated before exposure to the virus, and starting vaccination at a younger age is recommended.

Particularly, since starting vaccination after age 15 increases the required number of doses from 2 to 3, it is advisable to get vaccinated before age 14.
