Incheon City Selects 14 ‘Best Workplaces’ in Manufacturing Industry


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it has selected 14 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as ‘Incheon Best Workplaces’ for their excellent working conditions, employee benefits, and growth potential.

This selection process is part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s regional industry-tailored job creation support project. Since 2020, a total of 50 companies have been recognized under this program.

Selected companies will receive plaques and certificates of recognition from Incheon City. Additionally, they will be eligible for 22 types of incentives, including support for SME management stabilization funds and discounts on guarantee insurance premiums for outstanding SMEs.







Incheon City Confirms Five Key Conflict Management Projects for 2025


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it held a Public Debate and Conflict Management Committee meeting yesterday (March 20) and confirmed five key conflict management projects for 2025.

The committee, composed of 14 members, operates based on the “Incheon Metropolitan City Ordinance on Public Debate and Conflict Management” and aims to gather public opinions and mediate social conflicts in a rational manner.

During this meeting, the committee reviewed the self-assessment results from various departments and expert advice from the Conflict Management Promotion Committee before selecting the five key projects.

An Incheon City official stated, “We will make every effort to systematically manage conflicts, enhance citizens’ quality of life, and ensure smooth implementation of city policies.”






Incheon City Conducts Hygiene Inspections at Public Facilities for Spring Outing Season


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that from March 26 to April 1, it will conduct intensive hygiene inspections of food establishments and food trucks in major public facilities such as airports, terminals, spring flower viewing sites, and national and public parks.

These inspections aim to prevent foodborne illnesses and other food safety incidents during the spring season. A total of 174 establishments, including restaurants, cafés, and bakeries near high-traffic areas, will be inspected.

Businesses found violating food hygiene regulations will face administrative actions in accordance with the law. In cases of serious violations or repeated offenses, stricter measures, such as legal action, will be taken.




Incheon City & Children’s Safety Heroes Launch School Zone Traffic Safety Campaign


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that on March 26, it will hold a traffic safety campaign near Seongri Elementary School in Namdong-gu in collaboration with the Children’s Safety Heroes organization.

This campaign aims to raise awareness of pedestrian and traffic safety for children and to create a safer environment for school commutes.

Participants will educate elementary school students on the importance of traffic safety and provide guidance on basic pedestrian safety rules.
