Incheon Seo-gu to Provide Emergency Alert Devices for Hearing-impaired Households

Incheon Seo-gu announced that it will provide emergency alert devices to 200 households with hearing impairments.

These devices help hearing-impaired individuals quickly recognize emergencies, such as fires, by alerting them through visual and vibrating signals instead of sound.

When the call button outside the front door is pressed, the LED light inside the house flashes, and the device vibrates to notify the resident.

Seo-gu Welfare Foundation will accept recommendations for eligible households through local administrative welfare centers and the Incheon Association of the Deaf until March 28. After screening, the devices will be installed in selected households.
