A Unique Experience at Camp Market! Citizen Participation Program Kicks Off

Incheon has announced that it will operate the Camp Market Citizen Participation Program from June through November.

The program offers a wide range of hands-on and sports activities that utilize the historical, cultural, and environmental assets of Camp Market. Participants can register in advance online starting from two to three weeks before the beginning of each monthly program.

Ten Projects Selected for Incheon’s New Senior Job Initiative

Incheon has announced the selection of ten projects under the 2025 Incheon Senior Job Initiative, which will officially launch in July.

The initiative was designed to identify job models tailored specifically to Incheon's unique needs. A public call for proposals was held from April 1 to 22, and following a thorough review of 29 submissions, ten projects were ultimately selected.

These programs will run for five months, from July to November, providing employment opportunities for a total of 69 senior citizens.

2025 Incheon Fair Trade Festival to Be Held

The city of Incheon has announced that the 2025 Incheon Fair Trade Festival will take place on June 14 at the Lawn Square in Songdo Central Park.

The event is held as part of the city’s broader policy efforts, the festival will highlight the current state and future of Fair Trade activities. It will also serve as a platform to share Incheon’s vision of becoming a “sustainable Fair Trade city” built in collaboration with its citizens.

Incheon Provides Service Improvement Training for Bus Drivers

The city of Incheon announced that it held a Service Improvement Training for Bus Drivers on June 10 at the Incheon Transportation Training Center. The session was attended by over 100 participants, including representatives, managers, and union leaders from transportation companies involved in the city’s public bus system.

Incheon National Police Agency holds talks with Shandong Provincial Public Security Agency

The Incheon National Police Agency announced that it invited a delegation from the Shandong Provincial Public Security Agency of China to hold official talks to strengthen security cooperation. 

The Incheon National Police Agency hopes that the introduction of an online reporting system will eliminate the inconvenience of Korean citizens having to visit Chinese public security offices to register their residences.

"School as Life, Everyday as Learning" by Superintendent Do Seong-hoon

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education held a "Communication Day with the Superintendent" with the Seo-gu Citizen Communication Group.

The ‘Communication Day’ is an opportunity to discuss local education and Incheon education issues and seek ways to improve them, reflecting Superintendent Do Seong-hoon's philosophy of communicating with citizens to drive policies. 

Jung-gu, Incheon, completes Yeongjong Complex Cultural Center with leisure and welfare facilities

Jung-gu, Incheon, announced that it held a ceremony to complete the Yeongjong Complex Cultural Center, which includes leisure and welfare facilities.

Jung-gu will officially open the center next month after completing interior construction and pilot operations of the building by this month.

Incheon City Dance Company's “Dancing City Incheon 2025” Closing Performance

Incheon City Dance Company's “Dancing City Incheon 2025” will come to a close with a grand finale on Saturday, June 21 at 4 p.m. at Bupyeong Arts Center's Hannuri Theater.

The performance will open with a scene from the Incheon City Dance Company's signature work, “A Quarrel at the Table,” which will immerse the audience in the intense energy of dance and the spectacular technique of Korean dance.

The closing performance is free of charge, but advance reservations are required through the Incheon Arts Center website.
