Incheon City Offers Up to 5,400 Won Benefits for Electronic Billing and Automatic Payment Applications for Water Bills

Incheon City's Waterworks Headquarters announced that it will provide water bill discounts for citizens who apply for electronic billing and automatic payment services to enhance payment convenience and improve administrative efficiency.

Starting today, citizens who apply for both electronic billing and automatic payment will receive an immediate 3,000 won discount on their water bill, applicable once only.

The same benefit is also provided to existing users who are currently using only electronic billing and apply for automatic payment, or to those who are currently using only automatic payment and additionally apply for electronic billing.

Incheon City's Fisheries Technology Support Center announced that it will strengthen radioactivity testing of seafood in Ganghwa-gun waters.

This measure comes in response to recent allegations of nuclear wastewater leaks from a uranium refining plant in Pyongsan, Hwanghae-do, North Korea, aimed at reducing public anxiety.

From July to November, the center will conduct precision testing for iodine, cesium, and other radioactive substances at least twice a month on seafood before trading at fishing village associations and wholesale markets.

Course registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 5th through the Lifelong Learning Center website, and tuition is completely free.

The district previously held the "2025 Fall Edition Empathy Message Board Selection Meeting" on the 17th, where they reviewed a total of 527 submitted texts and selected 5 entries in total: one grand prize winner, two excellence awards, and two encouragement awards.
