인천시, 소상공인 경영안정자금 255억 원 지원

인천광역시가 9월 24일부터 소상공인의 경영안정을 도모하고 지역경제 회복을 지원하기 위해 ‘2025년 희망인천 소상공인 경영안정자금 지원’ 3단계 사업을 시행합니다.

올해‘희망인천 지원사업’은 단계별로 추진하고 있으며, 지난 1월 시행된 1단계에서는 총 250억 원을, 5월 시행된 2단계에서는 1,770억 원을 지원한 바 있습니다. 

이번 3단계는 올해 마지막으로 255억 원을 투입하며, 특히 홈플러스 폐점으로 피해를 입은 소상공인에게는 심사기준 완화 등 우선 지원을 할 예정입니다. 

지원 대상은 인천시에 사업장을 둔 모든 소상공인으로, 업체당 최대 3천만 원까지 대출이 가능하고, 대출 이후 3년간 이자 지원 혜택이 제공되며 대출금 상환 방식은 1년 거치 후 5년 동안 매월 분할 상환입니다. 

Incheon to Provide 25.5 Billion Won for Small Business Support

Incheon Metropolitan City will begin the third phase of its “Hope Incheon Small Business Stabilization Fund” on September 24.

Earlier this year, the city provided 25 billion Won in the first phase of the program in January and 177 billion Won in the second phase in May. This third phase will be the final round for 2025.

Priority support will go to business owners affected by the closure of Homeplus stores, with eased screening criteria. Eligible small businesses based in Incheon can borrow up to 30 million Won each, with interest covered by the city for three years. Repayment will be made in installments over five years, following a one-year grace period.

인천광역시 시립박물관이 9월 26일‘불꽃같은 삶: 1950년 9월 인천의 마거리트 히긴스’ 특별전과 연계해 ‘관람객과의 대화’ 행사를 개최합니다.

10월 19일까지 열리는 특별전은 미국 ‘뉴욕 헤럴드 트리뷴’ 신문의 종군기자 마거리트 히긴스(1920~1966)의 삶과 활동을 조명합니다. 

히긴스는 미군 해병대원들과 함께 상륙정을 타고 총탄이 쏟아지는 인천 만석동 해안에 직접 상륙해 현장을 생생히 보도했으며, 이 공로로 여성 최초로 퓰리처상을 수상했습니다. 

Incheon City Museum to Host Talk with Visitors on War Correspondent Higgins

The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum will hold a special “Talk with Visitors” on September 26, in connection with its exhibition “A Fiery Life: Marguerite Higgins in Incheon, September 1950.”

The exhibition, running through October 19, highlights the life and work of the American war correspondent for the New York Herald Tribune.

Higgins landed with U.S. Marines at Incheon’s Manseok-dong under heavy fire and reported directly from the scene, becoming the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for her coverage.

인천광역시 인천도시역사관이 광복 80주년 기념 작가전의 연계행사인 ‘스(S)프레이로 스(S)트레스를 날려요’를 10월 9일 한글날에 맞춰 운영합니다.

11월 2일까지 열리는 작가전은 광복 80주년을 맞아 인천 출신 그래피티(graffiti) 작가 레오다브(LEODAV)가 참여해 광복의 정신을 현대적으로 풀어낸 작품들을 선보이고 있습니다.

Incheon Urban History Museum to Host Family Graffiti Event on Hangeul Day

The Incheon Urban History Museum will host a special family graffiti program on October 9, Hangeul Day, as part of its exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

The exhibition, running through November 2, features works by Incheon-born graffiti artist LEODAV, who reinterprets the spirit of liberation through modern street art.

His dynamic portrayals and reimagined depictions of independence activists have drawn strong responses from family visitors.

The Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture has released the fourth issue of its policy publication, Cultural Policy Focus, on September 19.

This edition explores ways to enhance the modern value and use of national heritage and traditional cultural assets under the theme, “The Source of Global K-Culture: How to Revitalize National Heritage and Traditional Cultural Resources?”

The foundation emphasized that national heritage and traditional culture form the backbone of K-Culture’s globalization, adding that the publication is expected to help shape Incheon’s own policy model in this field.

Incheon’s Yeongjong-gu to Host Founding Citizens’ Forum on 25th

Incheon’s Yeongjong-gu, set to officially launch in July next year, will mark the occasion with a large-scale citizens’ forum.

The Yeongjong-gu Founding Citizens’ Forum, organized by the Yeongjong International City Federation, opens on the 25th at 6:30 p.m. at the Yeongjong Cultural Complex.

Discussion topics will include airport-centered economic development, administrative efficiency, transportation expansion, industrial and tourism growth, energy self-sufficiency, education and healthcare infrastructure, and local governance.

Cheongna Lake Park Media Facility to Be Reborn as Waterfront Rest Area

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority is renovating the aging media facility inside Cheongna Lake Park, transforming it into a waterfront rest and experience space with scenic lighting. 

The project aims to provide citizens with a cooler, more pleasant space to enjoy even during the summer.

About 1.6 billion Won will be invested in the project, with completion set for the first half of 2026. Plans include interactive waterfront facilities, night lighting, and new rest areas for visitors.

Incheon Global Campus will present a special performance, Bach’s Coffee Cantata, on the 23rd at the campus’s small theater.

The show will feature some of Bach’s most celebrated works, highlighting his artistry and craftsmanship, and will include the full-length, humorous cantata centered on coffee.
