이번 성과는 지난해 '최우수상' 에 이어 한 단계 도약한 결과로 인천시가 노인일자리 분야에서 명실상부한 '최고' 임을 다시 한 번 입증했습니다.

시는 지난해 군·구, 노인일자리지원기관, 노인복지관 등 50개소의 수행기관과 유기적으로 협력해 2319억 원의 예산을 투입, 총 5만7160명의 어르신에게 다양한 일자리를 제공했습니다.

Incheon City Wins Grand Prize in Senior Job Program Evaluation

Incheon City announced it won the Grand Prize in the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s “2025 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project Comprehensive Evaluation” among 17 cities and provinces nationwide.

This result is one step higher than last year’s Excellence Award and once again proves that Incheon is the best in the field of senior jobs.

The city worked with 50 organizations, including gu and gun offices, senior job support centers, and welfare centers, invested 231.9 billion, and provided a total of 57,160 jobs for seniors last year.

수도권 최대 규모의 도시 솔루션 전시회인 ‘월드 시티테크 엑스포’는 킨텍스와 경기주택도시공사가 공동 주최하며, 올해는‘Better Cities, Better Lives’이라는 주제로 개최됩니다.

시는 이번 엑스포에서 추진 중인 주요 스마트 빌리지 사업과 스마트시티 기술을 소개하는 인천홍보관을 운영할 계획입니다.

Incheon City to Participate in “World CITYTech Expo 2025”

Incheon City announced it will participate in the “World CITYTech Expo 2025,” held at KINTEX in Ilsan from September 24 to 26, and will operate the Incheon Pavilion.

The expo, the largest urban solutions exhibition in the Seoul metropolitan area, is co-hosted by KINTEX and Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation, under the theme “Better Cities, Better Lives.”

At the event, the city will operate the Incheon Pavilion to present its major smart village projects and smart city technologies.

시에 따르면 이번 박람회는 지난해 첫 개최에 이어 두 번째로 열리는 행사로 사회적경제의 가치를 시민과 공유하고 확산하며, 기업과 지역이 함께 성장하는 참여형 축제의 장으로 마련됐습니다.

행사에는 약 60여 개의 사회적경제기업과 유관기관이 참여해 홍보·체험 부스를 운영하며 시민·기업·전문가 등 약 5천여 명이 방문할 것으로 예상됩니다.

Incheon Social Economy Fair to be Held September 26–28

Incheon City announced it will host the “2nd Incheon Social Economy Fair” at the Wave Hall of Sangsang Platform in Jung-gu from September 26 to 28.

According to the city, the fair is being held for the second time following last year’s first event, to share and spread the value of the social economy and create a participatory festival where businesses and communities grow together.

About 60 social economy companies and related institutions will participate with promotion and experience booths, and around 5,000 people including citizens, companies, and experts are expected to attend.

Incheon to Hold “2025 Baby Stroller Walking Festival”

Incheon City announced it will hold the “2025 Incheon Baby Stroller Walking Festival” on September 27 at the Main Plaza of Incheon Grand Park.

The event aims to spread a childbirth- and parenting-friendly atmosphere and promote family-friendly culture and citizen community through leisure activities where parents and children walk and enjoy together.

The walking event will take place on a 1.5 km trail around the park lake, and participants can enjoy events and child care zones prepared along the course.

인천시는 가축전염병 예방과 시민 보건 향상을 위해 '가을철 가축전염병 예방접종'을 실시합니다.

이번 예방접종은 사람과 동물 간 전파되는 인수공통감염병인 광견병을 예방하고 가축전염병 발생으로 인한 축산농가의 경제적 손실을 최소화하기 위해 추진됩니다.

광견병 예방접종을 원하는 시민은 동물등록을 마친 3개월령 이상의 반려견과 함께 지정 동물병원을 방문해 시술비 5000원을 부담하면 접종받을 수 있습니다.

Incheon City to Begin Livestock Disease Vaccinations on September 22

Incheon City announced it will conduct “fall livestock disease vaccinations” to prevent animal epidemics and improve public health.

The vaccination program is intended to prevent rabies, a zoonotic disease, and to minimize economic losses for farmers caused by animal epidemics.

Citizens who want rabies vaccination can visit designated veterinary hospitals with dogs older than 3 months registered under the pet registration system, pay 5,000 won, and receive the vaccination.

인천시는 어제(22일) 강화군 강화읍에 위치한 ‘강화 신문리 고택’을 인천시 등록문화유산으로 고시했습니다.

시에 따르면 1928년에 건립된 신문리 고택은 전통 한옥 구조에 일본식과 서양식 건축 요소가 함께 반영된 독창적 형태의 개량한옥입니다.

인천시 문화유산위원회는 신문리 고택은 전통과 근대가 조화를 이룬 건축미와 강화 산업·생활사의 흔적, 김구 선생의 방문 기록이라는 역사성을 품고 있는 여러 요소들을 고려해 등록문화유산으로서 충분한 가치를 인정했습니다.

등록문화유산은 생활공간 활용의 자율성을 보장하면서도 보존을 실현할 수 있어 시민 불편을 줄이고 문화적 가치를 함께 지켜낼 수 있습니다.

Incheon Registers Ganghwa Sinmun-ri Traditional House as Cultural Heritage

Incheon City announced on September 22 that it designated the “Ganghwa Sinmun-ri Traditional House” in Ganghwa-eup, Ganghwa-gun as a registered cultural heritage site.

Built in 1928, the Sinmun-ri Traditional House is a remodeled hanok with a unique style combining traditional Korean structure with Japanese and Western architectural elements.

The Incheon Cultural Heritage Committee recognized its value as registered cultural heritage, considering its beauty of blending tradition and modernity, traces of Ganghwa’s industry and daily life, and its record of a visit by Kim Gu.

Registered cultural heritage ensures both preservation and daily use, reducing inconvenience for citizens while protecting cultural value.

Incheon Education Office Strengthens Support for Dyslexia Through Parent Training

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education held training for parents of students with dyslexia and borderline intelligence at Gyeongin National University of Education Incheon Campus on September 18–19, with more than 200 parents attending.

The training aimed to help parents understand their children’s characteristics and provide practical support at home.

The office announced that opinions and cases from the training will be reflected in next year’s basic learning support policies and parent education planning.

This training is expected to be an important step in protecting students’ learning rights and strengthening the role of parents.
