인천광역시는 10월 3일 개천절부터 9일 한글날까지 이어지는 장기 연휴로 인해 지방세 신고ㆍ납부에 납세자들의 불편이 예상됨에 따라, 10월분 지방소득세, 주민세, 레저세의 신고·납부 기한을 기존 10월 10일에서 15일까지 5일간 연장한다고 밝혔습니다.

지방세기본법 제26조 및 같은 법 시행령 제6조에 따르면 지방자치단체의 장은 천재지변·사변·화재 등 대통령령으로 정하는 사유가 있거나 납세자의 신청이 있는 경우 신고·납부 기한을 연장할 수 있으며, 이번 조치는 이 규정에 근거해 추진됩니다.

인천시 관계자는 “앞으로도 적극적인 지방 세정 지원으로 납세 편의를 높일 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했습니다.

Incheon Extends Local Tax Deadline During Chuseok Holiday

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will extend the filing and payment deadline for local income tax, resident tax, and leisure tax in October from the 10th to the 15th, due to the long holiday from October 3 (National Foundation Day) to October 9 (Hangeul Day).

According to Article 26 of the Local Tax Act and Article 6 of the Enforcement Decree, the head of a local government may extend the deadline in cases such as natural disasters, incidents, or at the request of taxpayers, and this measure is based on those rules.

An official from the city said they will continue to improve tax services to make it easier for citizens.

이번 공모전은 블록체인 기반 비대면 공공서비스를 시민이 보다 쉽게 이해하고 사용할 수 있는 앱 명칭을 선정하기 위해 마련됐으며 인천광역시 누리집(www.incheon.go.kr)을 통해 남녀노소 누구나 참여할 수 있습니다.

Namdong-gu Wins Youth-Friendly Award for 5th Year

Incheon’s Namdong-gu announced that it won the policy award in the local government category at the ‘2025 Youth-Friendly National Assembly Award.’

Namdong-gu became the first in Incheon to win the award for five consecutive years, following the communication award in 2024.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will run the second semester of the ‘Dream Link University’ program from September 17 to January 21.

Dream Link University provides integrated career programs in cooperation with universities and institutions.

The office signed agreements with 15 universities and partnered with 15 organizations including the Incheon Police Agency.

This semester 106 courses will be offered, including nano chemistry, digital business, and sports science, with 1,854 students participating.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will host the ‘2025 Incheon Vocational Education Fair’ and the ‘2025 Global Job and Startup Fair’ together from September 30 to October 2 at Songdo Convensia.

The Vocational Education Fair in Hall 1 will showcase programs from 29 vocational high schools and operate various booths such as career counseling and practice zones.

The Global Job and Startup Fair in Hall 2 will run about 90 booths and offer mock interviews, internship information, startup club programs, and a startup market.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced the completion of the ‘2025 Ganghwa Edu Tour,’ with 518 participants including school leaders, teachers, and overseas students.

The tour was a national training program using Ganghwa’s history, peace, ecology, and culture to explore the future of education, held ten times this year.

Participants joined peace education at Nanjeong Peace Education Center, history and modern education programs, and school visits.

The program earned a satisfaction rate of 99.6 percent.
