새단장을 마친 홍보관은 IFEZ의 역사와 현재, 미래비전을 최신 디지털 콘텐츠, 사진·전시, 디오라마(모형) 등으로 다채롭게 구현해 관객들의 몰입도를 높였습니다.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced that the IFEZ Promotion Center, which reopened in July after a major renovation, has been warmly received by both foreign tourists and local residents.From January through September 21, the center drew a total of 54,423 visitors, of which 36,336—or about 67 percent—came after the reopening.The renewed center now presents IFEZ’s history, present, and future vision through immersive digital content, photos, exhibitions, and dioramas, offering visitors a more engaging experience.

It aims to promote community integration and a culture of inclusiveness by encouraging participants to share their personal journeys, recognizing both common ground and differences.Each session will include three North Korean defectors and three Incheon citizens, with a total of six sessions and 36 participants. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via the center’s website (https://www.unipluscenter.go.kr).

인천광역시는 추석 명절을 앞두고 벌초·성묘 등 야외활동이 늘어남에 따라 중증열성혈소판감소증후군(SFTS) 발생 위험이 높아질 수 있다며 각별한 주의를 당부했습니다.

중증열성혈소판감소증후군(SFTS)은 바이러스를 보유한 참진드기에 물려 전파되는 감염병으로, 감염 후 2주 이내에 38℃ 이상의 고열, 오심, 구토, 설사, 식욕부진 등의 증상이 나타납니다.

추석은 야외활동이 많은 시기로 진드기의 활동 시기와 겹쳐 감염 위험이 커지는 만큼, 야외에서는 긴소매와 긴 바지를 착용해 피부 노출을 줄이고 기피제를 사용하며, 벌초·성묘 후에는 샤워와 의류 세탁을 통해 몸에 붙은 진드기를 제거하는 등 예방수칙을 철저히 지켜야 하겠습니다.

Incheon issues tick-borne disease warning ahead of Chuseok

The Incheon Metropolitan City Government is urging citizens to take precautions against severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) ahead of the Chuseok holiday, when outdoor activities such as grass-cutting and visiting ancestral graves increase.SFTS is a viral infection transmitted by tick bites, with symptoms such as high fever above 38°C, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite appearing within two weeks of infection. As Chuseok coincides with peak tick activity, the city recommends wearing long sleeves and pants outdoors, using repellents, and showering and washing clothes immediately after outdoor activities to remove ticks. Citizens are also advised to follow preventive measures carefully when performing traditional activities like visiting ancestral graves.
