Incheon City Holds Exhibition to Mark “Separated Families Day”
Incheon Metropolitan City announced it will hold a publicity exhibition inside Incheon City Hall Station from September 24 to October 4 to remember and share the pain of separated families on the occasion of the “3rd Separated Families Day.”
The exhibition was prepared by the Incheon Unification Plus Center to let citizens know that October 4 is the national day for separated families, to comfort them, and to provide a chance to share their pain.
The exhibition will show information on Separated Families Day, the current situation of separated families, handwritten letters, drawings of hometowns, and family photos.
“2nd Songdo International Conference Complex MICE Travel Mart” Ends Successfully
Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced that the “2025 2nd Incheon Songdo International Conference Complex MICE Travel Mart (ISITM),” held from September 2 to 5 for four days, ended successfully with strong interest from domestic and foreign industries.
The event brought together 29 buyers from nine Asian countries including China, Singapore, and Indonesia, and 49 domestic sellers, and through a pre-matching system, a total of 288 customized business meetings were held.
The “Songdo International Conference Complex MICE Travel Mart,” first held last year, has now settled as a regular event and spread its recognition as a “global networking place representing Incheon MICE.”
Incheon Urban History Museum to Hold Citizen Lecture on Music and Movies of Incheon
The Incheon Urban History Museum announced it will run a citizen lecture program, “Urban School – Incheon in Sound & Screen,” starting October 22.
This lecture is designed to look at Incheon’s spaces through the emotions shown in popular songs and films, and to highlight the city’s image in popular culture.
The lecture will be held in person, starting October 22 and continuing every Thursday at 2 p.m. until November 20, with the first lecture on Wednesday, October 22.
“2025 LCK Finals” to Be Held at Inspire Arena
Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced that the “2025 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Finals” will be held at Incheon Inspire Arena from September 27 to 28.
The “LCK” is the top professional league in Korea for the online game “League of Legends (LOL),” and this year’s finals will feature three teams that advanced through playoffs competing for the championship.
Incheon City expects that hosting the “LCK” finals will be a chance to widely promote the value of Incheon’s unique venues, especially to younger generations.
Incheon Social Service Agency Conducts Human Rights Monitoring at Disability Facilities
The Incheon Social Service Agency announced it carried out human rights monitoring at its disability residential facilities to prevent recurrence of rights violations and abuse.
The agency formed inspection teams with facility heads and two staff from the facility support department, and inspected three facilities under its management – Incheon Shelter for Disabled Victims, Shelter for Disabled Children Victims, and Michuhol Pureunae – from September 16 to 18.
Based on the results, the agency will prepare an abuse prevention response manual next year.
Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture to Hold “Youth Culture Festival 2025 – Just a Little Different, Jeon(展)” on September 27
Incheon City and the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture announced they will hold the “Youth Culture Festival 2025 – Just a Little Different, Jeon(展)” at the lawn square in Songdo Central Park on September 27.
According to the foundation, the festival is linked to Youth Day (the third Saturday of September) and marks the finale of Youth Week programs hosted at the Incheon Youth Culture Creation Center “Start Space.” It aims to showcase the uniqueness of youth through performances and activities of local arts groups.
An official said, “This festival will be a chance to see various performances and activities of young artists, and we hope all citizens will join to support and spread youth arts in the region.”
Yeonsu Foundation for Arts and Culture to Hold Lifestyle Culture Festival “Culture All Day Yeonsu!”
The Yeonsu Foundation for Arts and Culture announced it will hold the “Lifestyle Culture Festival 2025 – Culture All Day Yeonsu!” at the Hanmaeum Square of Yeonsu-gu Office on September 27.
The festival will bring together lifestyle culture clubs active across the gu to share their achievements with residents.
Starting with a mime performance by “231 Show,” the stage program will feature diverse performances by 10 lifestyle culture clubs, including jazz band, Nanta, choir, and dance.
