“2025 Incheon Job Fair for Middle-aged and Women” to Be Held
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will hold the “2025 Incheon Job Fair for Middle-aged and Women” on October 28 at the Central Hall of Incheon City Hall to support new job challenges and expand social participation for middle-aged people and women.
This job fair marks the final event of the “2025 Incheon Regular Job Fair” series, which has been held five times this year. It is jointly hosted by Incheon City, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office, and eight other organizations.
A total of 33 companies will participate in the event to conduct on-site interviews, providing job seekers with practical employment opportunities.
Incheon City to Hold “2025 Agricultural Specialty Incheon Market”… Connecting Local Farmers and Citizens
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will hold the “2025 Agricultural Specialty Incheon Market” at Aetdeul Plaza in front of Incheon City Hall for two days from October 29 to 30.
The event is hosted by Incheon City and organized by NongHyup Agribusiness Group Incheon Branch. It aims to support local farmers who are struggling to secure sales channels and to provide citizens with high-quality local agricultural products at reasonable prices.
During the event, customers who spend more than 30,000 won will receive gifts through an air-ball prize draw, and those who spend more than 50,000 won will enjoy free same-day delivery service, further improving convenience for citizens.
Incheon City Develops Eco-resource-based Souvenirs Through Collaboration with Village Enterprises
Incheon Metropolitan City, together with the Cheongwoon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, is promoting a project to discover the value of local ecological resources and to build a sustainable development model through collaboration with Incheon village enterprises.
This collaboration focuses on creating social value by developing products that utilize local ecological resources, such as migratory birds on Yeonpyeong-do.
The project holds significant meaning in protecting ecological resources, revitalizing the local economy, and realizing social value. Continued cooperation is expected to help Incheon establish itself as a hub for eco-tourism and local economic development.
Incheon City Recruits Participants for the 5th “i+ Connect Dream” Program for Young Singles
Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Branch of the Planned Population Federation announced that they are recruiting participants for the 5th “i+ Connect Dream” program, which supports meetings between young single men and women in Incheon. Applications will be accepted for three weeks from November 3 to November 24.
The program is open to unmarried men and women aged 24 to 39 who are registered residents of Incheon or work at companies located in Incheon. Self-employed individuals and freelancers are also eligible to apply.
Applications can be submitted through the Planned Population Federation website, Naver Form, or in person at the Incheon branch office.
 
Namdong-gu, Incheon to Host 2025 Children’s Drawing Contest for Better Food Culture
Namdong-gu, Incheon announced the launch of the “2025 Children’s Drawing Contest for Food Culture Improvement” to celebrate the 4th anniversary of its local brand “Soraechan.”
Now in its third year, the contest is open to children from local daycare centers, kindergartens, and elementary schools.
Participants can freely draw pictures related to healthy food culture on A3-size paper and submit their works in person or by mail to the Food Sanitation Division of Namdong-gu Office by November 19.
 
Jung-gu, Incheon to Hold “2025 Yeongjong After-Work Concert”
The Incheon Jung-gu Cultural Foundation will hold a special cultural event, the “2025 Yeongjong After-Work Concert,” tomorrow (28th) evening for citizens on their way home from work.

Ongjin-gun, Incheon Enacts Ordinance to Promote and Support Island Gardens
Ongjin-gun, Incheon announced the enactment of the “Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of Island Gardens,” which will take effect in 2026 to promote small-scale farming and expand lifestyle agriculture in island areas.
Under the new ordinance, owners of farmland smaller than 1,000㎡—previously excluded from organic fertilizer support programs because they were not registered as agricultural businesses—will now be eligible for assistance.
This ordinance will enable island residents to grow safe crops using organic fertilizers in their gardens, encouraging the spread of small-scale farming in daily life.
 
Incheon Environment Corporation Holds Resource Recycling Education Campaign with Citizens
Incheon Environment Corporation operated environmental education booths at various public events throughout October to raise awareness of resource recycling.
The corporation participated in the “3rd Incheon Love Walking Festival” at Incheon Grand Park in Namdong-gu and the “Incheon Sea Love Cultural Festival” at Galmaegihol in Wolmido, Jung-gu, on October 25.
At these events, citizens learned how to properly separate recyclables and took part in quiz activities that promoted the importance of resource recycling.
