Incheon Metropolitan City announced plans to implement the '1,000 Won Brokerage Fee' project starting next January to support housing stability for vulnerable groups, including newlyweds without homes. Under this initiative, residents such as newlyweds, young people, and basic livelihood recipients who rent homes valued at 100 million won or less will only need to pay 1,000 won. The city will cover the remaining brokerage fee up to 300,000 won, having allocated a budget of 300 million won next year to support approximately 1,000 households.

Among the 155 consumer policy tasks submitted by central administrative agencies and metropolitan governments, only 26 received this top rating, and notably, all four tasks submitted by Incheon City achieved the 'Excellent' designation.
