Incheon University Alliance Startup Academy Successfully Concludes


Incheon Metropolitan City successfully concluded the final stage of the '1st Incheon University Alliance Startup Academy' with a startup competition held at Songdo Convensia on September 11.

Over 100 university students from nine universities in the Incheon area participated in this startup academy. Over the past four months, these students have been developing startup ideas aimed at addressing local issues in Incheon.

An Incheon city official stated, “We will continue to provide comprehensive support to invigorate the youth startup ecosystem and strive to make Incheon a top 10 global startup city.”

Now in its 19th year, the festival has become a premier platform for young people to showcase their talents and creativity. It has evolved into an event that fosters greater community interest and understanding.

Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture Launches 'Stamp Tour' Event


The Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture is drawing attention with its new exhibition-linked promotional event, the <Stamp Tour>.

To participate in the Stamp Tour, visitors need to sequentially view exhibitions at the Woori Art Museum, Incheon Art Platform, and the Museum of Korean Modern Literature's special exhibition hall, and then upload their stamp tour verification photos to social media.

A representative from the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture stated, “We hope that Incheon residents will appreciate the beauty of art and history and have an enjoyable time.”





Incheon City Ensures Safe Chuseok Agricultural Products with Pre-Inspection: '97.4% Compliance'


The Incheon Metropolitan City Health and Environment Research Institute reported that, ahead of Chuseok, it conducted pesticide residue tests on 77 types of gift and ritual fruits and vegetables. The results revealed that 75 items, or 97.4%, were found to be safe.

The inspections, carried out from September 2 to 6, included samples of vegetables such as spinach and bellflower root, as well as fruits like apples and pears, collected from public wholesale markets, large supermarkets, and local food stores. Additionally, 9 samples of mushrooms, seaweed, and nuts were tested.

Two vegetable samples that exceeded safety standards were promptly reported to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the relevant administrative authorities to prevent their distribution.
