9th Munhak Mountain Concert: A Night of Music and History


Incheon Metropolitan City invites citizens to the 9th Munhak Mountain Concert on September 21st. 

The event, themed “Appreciate the Autumn Night Sky at Munhak Mountain,” will be held at the summit of Munhak Mountain, offering a panoramic view of Incheon’s nightscape. The concert has made a name for itself as the inaugural classical music event at the mountain, allowing citizens to experience Incheon’s first monument, Munhak Mountain Fortress Wall.

The concert is free, with transportation provided for those with mobility challenges.




Incheon to Open Large-Scale Parking Lot for RVs and Caravans in Seo-gu by November


Incheon Metropolitan City has announced the development of a large-scale parking lot in Wonchang-dong, Seo-gu, which will accommodate recreational vehicless and caravans. The city is currently conducting inspections in partnership with the Facilities Corporation.

The Wonchang-dong parking lot will have a total of 128 spaces, including 74 for RVs and caravans and 54 for regular vehicles. The opening is scheduled for November this year.

The new parking lot will provide a comfortable and secure parking environment for RV and caravan owners who have been using free parking lots for long-term parking. 

It will also offer spaces for regular vehicles, contributing to the resolution of local parking issues.






Incheon Island Travel Becomes More Accessible: A New Portal Site Launches!


Incheon City has revealed that on September 13th, they will officially open the ‘Incheon Island Portal Site,’ which consolidates all information about Incheon islands, such as tourism, transportation, accommodation, and themed travel, into one convenient location.

The new portal site aims to unify previously dispersed island-related information, allowing easy access and use of island travel information for everyone.

This initiative is anticipated to boost the number of island visitors and boost the income of island residents.





Fewer Passengers Expected on Incheon Coastal Ships This Chuseok


The Incheon Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries predicts a 17% drop in passengers using coastal ships between Incheon and nearby islands during the Chuseok holiday. 

Approximately 62,200 passengers are expected over the six-day period, compared to 74,745 last year. 

The office will operate a special transportation headquarters in cooperation with the Incheon Coast Guard, Ongjin Gun, and the Operation Management Center to ensure safety and efficiency, with frequent on-site inspections planned.
