7th Incheon Senior Dream Store Opens
Incheon Metropolitan City will open the 7th branch of the "Incheon Senior Dream Store," named the "Convenience Store Gyeyang Kkachimal," in Gyeyang-gu tomorrow (26th).
The "Incheon Senior Dream Store" is part of a job creation project designed to support seniors who are looking to start a second life after retirement by providing employment opportunities and promoting an active, fulfilling post-retirement life.
Participating seniors will work in shifts, 2-3 days a week for 4-5 hours a day, and will receive an average monthly salary of approximately 500,000 KRW.
Incheon City Takes Action to Ensure Stable Supply of Gimjang Ingredients
Incheon Metropolitan City is actively implementing measures to ensure a stable supply of gimjang vegetables, allowing citizens to purchase safe and high-quality ingredients for gimjang in a timely manner.
Through these measures, Incheon City plans to secure a sufficient supply of vegetables at agricultural wholesale markets and strengthen monitoring of the origin and quality of incoming produce.
An Incheon City official stated, "By ensuring the stable supply of vegetables, we aim to provide citizens with reliable winter food supplies and will make every effort to ensure the availability of safe and high-quality gimjang ingredients."

Incheon Metropolitan City’s "Incheon Treasure Island 168 Campaign" has won two prestigious awards at major domestic PR events. The campaign received the Grand Prize in the Community Relations category at the "32nd 2024 Korea PR Awards" and the Grand Prize in the PR category at the "34th 2024 Korea Business Communication Awards."
With these awards, Incheon has achieved two major domestic honors for the second consecutive year, further demonstrating the city's marketing expertise and the campaign's successful impact.

Incheon City Recruits 136 Youth for Winter Public Institution Part-Time Jobs in 2025
Incheon Metropolitan City is recruiting 136 young people for winter part-time positions at public institutions, providing them with an opportunity to gain experience in various job roles.
This recruitment is open to youth who have not participated in Incheon’s university student and youth part-time job programs over the past two years.
The selected individuals will be assigned to public institutions such as city hall, local offices, public corporations, district offices, fire stations, and libraries from January 3 to January 27, 2025, for a total of 17 days. They will work five days a week, seven hours a day, assisting with various tasks.
