Incheon Startup Park Opens Applications for 2025 TRYOUT Validation Program


IFEZ and Incheon Techno Park have announced that Incheon Startup Park is recruiting startups for the 2025 TRYOUT Validation Program.

Launched in 2020, this initiative helps startups in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and bio sectors by connecting them with public institutions, major private corporations, and universities to conduct product and service validation, which is often difficult to achieve independently.

By 2024, a total of 278 startups have successfully entered domestic and international markets and secured investment through this program.

An official from IFEZ stated, “We will continue working with our partners to support startup growth this year.”

 





Incheon Expands Support Programs for Single-Person Households


In response to rising concerns related to economic stability, health, housing, and social isolation among single-person households, Incheon City has announced its 2025 Single-Person Household Support Implementation Plan.

For 2025, the city has allocated a budget of 81.28 billion won to implement Policy infrastructure development, Economic support programs, Housing stability initiatives, Safe living environment measures, Health promotion and care services, Strengthening social connections.

A total of 35 programs across 14 key initiatives will be carried out under these six major categories.






Incheon to Provide Dementia Screening for Senior Job Program Participants


Incheon City has announced plans to offer dementia screenings for seniors participating in public service jobs for the elderly in 2025.

This initiative, scheduled to run from March to September 2025, is a collaboration between the Incheon Metropolitan Dementia Center and district dementia care centers.

Under the program, 16 senior employment agencies and nine district dementia centers will work together to provide screening reservations and guidance for seniors aged 65 and older who wish to participate.

The program aims to raise awareness about health management and encourage seniors to take proactive steps in maintaining their well-being.






Incheon Youth Future Center Expands Support for Isolated and Reclusive Youth


The Incheon Youth Future Center, under the Incheon Social Services Agency, has announced new initiatives to help isolated and reclusive youth reintegrate into society.

One key program, “Future Company”, simulates a real workplace environment, requiring participants to commute daily to the center to develop healthy routines. Since February, six individuals have joined this program.

Young people interested in these programs can take an online survey via the “Youth ON” platform. Based on the results, they will undergo in-person or virtual counseling with the center’s Reclusive Youth Support Team before becoming eligible for program participation.
