IFEZ to Sell Land in Songdo Worth KRW 1.4 Trillion This Year
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) has announced plans to sell 17 land plots in Songdo International City this year.
The total area of the land for sale amounts to approximately 479,000 square meters, with an estimated sale value of KRW 1.4359 trillion based on appraisals.
The plots are categorized as follows: five for neighborhood living facilities, four for industrial use, three for schools, two for international business, two for mixed-use residential and commercial developments, and one for multi-family housing.
An IFEZ official stated, “If the land is sold as planned, we expect to secure approximately KRW 650 billion in revenue this year. We will proceed with the necessary procedures without delay.”
‘Incheon Illustration Korea 2025’ to Be Held in Songdo This June
The large-scale illustration exhibition Incheon Illustration Korea 2025 will take place from June 6 to June 8 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon.
Hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and jointly organized by the Incheon Tourism Organization and Messe Esang, the event will feature over 200 renowned illustrators and character artists from Korea and abroad, including NOMA, Siksik in the House, and BLUZ.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with artists, create and purchase collaborative merchandise, and participate in various interactive programs, offering an immersive experience in the world of illustration.
Incheon Metropolitan Dance Theatre to Premiere New Production Smombie
Choreographer Jeong Myung-hoon, known for bringing creative diversity and contemporary relevance to the Incheon Metropolitan Dance Theatre, will present the premiere of his new work, Smombie.
The term Smombie, a blend of "smartphone" and "zombie," describes individuals who are so engrossed in their phones that they become oblivious to their surroundings.
The production humorously portrays modern society’s smartphone and internet addiction, using dance to highlight the contrast between excessive digital dopamine stimulation and the genuine happiness found in everyday life.
Incheon Credit Guarantee Foundation Launches Mentoring Program for Small Business Owners
The Incheon Credit Guarantee Foundation is launching the Let’s Go Together mentoring program in 2025.
This initiative is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners by pairing them with experienced industry professionals who will share their expertise, business knowledge, and operational strategies.
