Incheon Recruiting Trainees for Second Half of 2025 Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Education Program
The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center has announced it will recruit 40 trainees for the 16th Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Education Program for the second half of 2025.Running from August 12 to October 23, the program consists of 20 sessions held Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling 100 hours.Through this structured education program, the center aims to effectively equip current and aspiring rural settlers with agricultural skills and information, supporting their stable transition to rural life.
Incheon Strengthens Spring Water Quality Tests for Summer to Ensure Safe Drinking
Incheon is expanding tests for pathogenic microorganisms during the summer to protect public health and ensure the safety of spring water, as such microbes can cause waterborne illnesses. Comprehensive tests are conducted every April, while microbial-focused tests are conducted in July and October, providing season-specific water quality monitoring.In the first half of this year, a total of 137 water quality tests were conducted, of which 4 did not meet safety standards.
Firefighters Donate 36 Million Won to Fire Victim through '119 Miracle' Project
A senior citizen who lost their home in a fire has been provided a new residence thanks to a donation campaign led by Incheon firefighters and local residents.
The campaign, known as the “119 Miracle,” has been running since 2019, collecting small daily donations of 119 won from both firefighters and members of the public.
The '119 Miracle’ campaign has raised over 1.35 billion won, helping 122 families so far.
Incheon Office of Education Offers Customized Online Career Lectures in July
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will hold “July Career Special Lectures” online from July 8 to 18 for middle and high school students and parents.
Through the Incheon Cyber Career Education Center’s video platform, the lectures will offer guidance on science high school admissions and math study strategies.
Participants must register in advance. Each lecture will be offered in two time slots—7:00 to 7:50 p.m. and 8:00 to 8:50 p.m.—to allow flexible attendance.
Incheon Calls for Peace Tourism Experience Content Proposals
Incheon is accepting applications until the 20th from businesses and organizations capable of developing tourism products or content for its “Incheon Peace Tourism Experience Content” program.Selected teams may receive up to 20 million won in support, promoting historic sites like Ganghwa’s DMZ and the Incheon’s Operation Chromite.
