Incheon City Becomes First in Nation to Simultaneously Obtain International Certifications for 'Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction Management' for Municipal Newsletter

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it has become the first local government in the nation to simultaneously obtain international certifications for Quality Management (ISO 9001) and Customer Satisfaction Management (ISO 10002) for its municipal newsletter.

ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems established and implemented by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), while ISO 10002 is an international standard for customer satisfaction management that systematically responds to customer needs and expectations according to ISO's customer satisfaction management standards.

Incheon City pursued these certifications to respond to the rapidly changing media environment and to improve content reliability and strengthen the city brand. The city focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and reliability by applying objective international standards, and strengthening the quality competitiveness of the municipal newsletter.

(뉴스용) 인천시, ‘인천하늘수 과학교실’ 확대 운영

인천광역시 상수도사업본부는 수돗물의 생산 과정을 이해하고 신뢰를 높이기 위해 운영 중인 ‘인천하늘수 과학교실’을 유치원과 돌봄센터 등으로 교육 대상을 넓혀 확대 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.

올해 상반기까지 약 6,000여 명이 프로그램에 참여해 큰 호응을 얻은 가운데, 기존 62개소 외에 유치원과 돌봄센터 등 26개소를 추가해 총 88개소로 운영할 계획입니다.

상수도사업본부는 오는 11월까지 더 많은 어린이들이 수돗물의 과학적 원리를 체험할 수 있도록 교육 기회를 지속 확대할 방침입니다.

Incheon City Expands Operation of 'Incheon Sky Water Science Classroom'

Incheon Metropolitan City Water Supply Business Headquarters announced that it will expand the operation of the 'Incheon Sky Water Science Classroom,' currently being operated to help understand the tap water production process and increase trust, by broadening the educational target to include kindergartens and childcare centers.

With approximately 6,000 people participating in the program by the first half of this year and receiving great response, the city plans to add 26 new locations including kindergartens and childcare centers to the existing 62 locations, operating a total of 88 locations.

The Water Supply Business Headquarters plans to continue expanding educational opportunities until November so that more children can experience the scientific principles of tap water.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it is operating the 'Startup Community Space Incheon Startup Cafe,' which can be freely used by prospective entrepreneurs, early-stage entrepreneurs, and any general citizens interested in startups, in order to spread startup culture in the region and establish a foundation for the startup ecosystem.

This space is supported by Incheon City and operated by Incheon Technopark, with the purpose of supporting startup settlement and growth for Incheon citizens and young people preparing for entrepreneurship.

This program is available free of charge to any young people and Incheon citizens interested in startups, and operates continuously until the budget is exhausted.

The Incheon Environmental Health Center conducted mobile screening for 'Environmental Disease Relief Care' for local residents at the Songrim 3·5-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Dong-gu.

Environmental Disease Relief Care is a regular project promoted with the purpose of monitoring and protecting the health effects of Incheon citizens from environmental risk factors in advance.

This mobile screening was organized to conduct early health checkups for residents who may be exposed to environmental hazardous factors due to proximity to industrial complexes and ports, and to provide customized health management support.
