Incheon is home to numerous bridges connecting its islands and urban districts. More than transportation links, these structures have become landmarks, framing scenic views where the sea and city meet. Newly opened this year, Cheongna Haneul Bridge and Sindo Peace Bridge are attracting visitors with panoramic views, walking routes, and cycling paths.

인천에는 섬과 도시를 크고 작은 다리가 많다. 다리는 단절된 공간을 연결하는 교통시설을 넘어, 바다와 도시가 어우러진 풍경을 선사하는 랜드마크가 됐다. 올해 새롭게 개통한 청라하늘대교와 신도평화대교는 전망과 산책, 라이딩까지 즐길 수 있어 새로운 명소로 주목받고 있다.

Yeongjongdo is now home to its third bridge. Following Yeongjong Grand Bridge and Incheon Bridge, Cheongna Haneul Bridge links Yeongjong International City with Cheongna International City. Stretching 4.68 km in length and 30 m in width, the six-lane bridge also provides dedicated space for pedestrians and cyclists. At 184.2 m above sea level, THE SKY184 has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s highest sea-bridge observatory. 

영종도에 세 번째 다리가 탄생했다. 영종대교와 인천대교에 이어 개통한 청라하늘대교는 영종국제도시와 청라국제도시를 연결한다. 총연장 4.68㎞, 폭 30m 왕복 6차로 규모로, 차량뿐 아니라 보행자와 자전거 이용자를 위한 공간도 마련됐다. 교량 상부 184.2m 높이에 설치된 ‘THE SKY184’ 전망대는 세계 최고 높이의 해상교량 전망대로 기네스 기록에 등재됐다.

The complex comprises a lounge, an ocean observatory, and a sky observatory. The lounge includes a cafe and pop-up gallery, while the ocean observatory below the bridge offers a waterfront promenade and outdoor programs such as yoga and running. Media art, live performances, and seasonal events are also planned beneath the bridge. 

전망대는 라운지, 바다전망대, 하늘전망대로 구성된다. 라운지에는 카페와 팝업갤러리가 자리하며, 교량하부에 조성된 바다전망대에서는 해상보행로를 따라 산책하거나 요가, 러닝 등 야외 프로그램을 즐길 수 있다. 또한 교량 하부 곳곳에서 미디어 아트, 라이브 공연 등 다양한 이벤트를 선보일 예정이다.

Reached by elevator, the sky observatory presents sweeping views of Incheon and the West Sea, along with a space-themed media-art zone. Its signature attraction is the Edge Walk, where visitors step outside the observatory for an exhilarating walk high above the open sea. Both the sky observatory and Edge Walk require paid admission, so advance reservations are recommended.

엘리베이터를 타고 오르는 하늘전망대에서는 인천의 도시 풍경과 서해가 한눈에 감상할 수 있으며 우주 테마의 미디어 아트존도 꾸며져 있다. 특히 전망대 외부를 걷는 ‘엣지워크’는 탁 트인 바다를 마주하며 짜릿함을 느낄 수 있는 대표 체험이다. 하늘전망대와 엣지워크는 유로로 운영되므로 사전 예약이 필요하다.

Sindo Peace Bridge

Sindo, Sido, and Modo are linked by bridges and collectively known as the Three Brother Islands. Until recently, travelers had to take a ferry from Sammok Ferry Terminal in Yeongjongdo to reach Sindo. Since Sindo Peace Bridge opened on July 14, 2026, however, the islands have been accessible by road around the clock. The 3.26-kilometer road link includes a 2.07-kilometer sea bridge connecting Yeongjongdo and Sindo. Alongside its two-lane roadway is a separate shared path for pedestrians and cyclists, making the crossing ideal for walking and riding. The speed limit is 50 km/h, and there is no toll. Beyond the bridge lie the peaceful landscapes of Sindo, Sido, and Modo. Gentle hills and coastal trails suit hiking and cycling, while the islands offer their own attractions, including cherry-blossom roads, the Rosa rugosa Trail, and Baemikkumi Sculpture Park. With no ferry timetable to follow, visitors can linger over sunsets on the West Sea and star-filled island nights.

신도와 시도, 모도는 다리로 이어져 ‘삼형제섬’으로 불린다. 그동안 신도로 가려면 영종도 삼목선착장에서 배를 이용해야 했지만, 지난 7월 14일 신도평화대교 개통으로 24시간 자유롭게 오갈 수 있게 됐다.

신도평화대교는 영종도와 신도를 잇는 총연장 3.26㎞, 왕복 2차로 규모의 해상교량이다. 차량 도로와 함께 보행자‧자전거 겸용 도로를 별도로 조성해 산책과 라이딩을 즐길 수 있다. 제한속도는 시속 50㎞이며 통행료는 무료다. 다리를 건너면 신도·시도·모도의 평화로운 섬 풍경이 펼쳐진다. 완만한 산과 해안길은 트래킹과 자전거 여행에 어울리며, 벚꽃길과 해당화둘레길, 배미꾸미 조각공원 등 섬마다 서로 다른 매력을 품고 있다. 이제 배 시간에 구애받지 않고 서해의 노을과 별빛 가득한 섬의 밤까지 여유롭게 즐길 수 있다.
