Incheon to Reduce Dohwa Interchange Exit to One Lane on October 30
Drivers using Incheon’s Dohwa Interchange will need to watch for a lane change starting October 30.
The exit will be narrowed from two lanes to one, which could cause traffic congestion during rush hour.
If traffic backs up, drivers are advised to take a detour via the Juan Industrial Complex exit.
The Incheon Infrastructure Construction Headquarters says the change will take effect at 1 p.m. on October 30.
The exit on the Incheon-bound side of Incheon-daero, leading from Dohwa Interchange toward Gyeongin-ro, will be shifted and reduced to a single lane.
The affected stretch runs from Dohwasogyo on Incheon-daero, through Dohwa IC, to the point where traffic merges onto Gyeongin-ro.
Drivers should check the new lane layout in advance and slow down when passing through the area.

Incheon to Lift Height Restrictions in Subong, Jayu Park and Wolmi Areas
Incheon is moving to lift building height restrictions that have long hindered redevelopment in older neighborhoods around Subong, Jayu Park and Wolmi.
The changes are expected to open up new opportunities to renovate aging residential areas.
Around Subong Park, where height limits have been in place for more than 40 years, buildings of up to around 12 stories could be allowed, depending on the conditions in each area.
The city plans to abolish the Subong, Jungang and Wolmi height-restriction zones, as well as the Sinpo Historic and Cultural Special Scenic District, and manage the areas under a unified district-unit plan.
The move is intended to reflect changes in the surrounding urban landscape and remove overlapping regulations.
The city hopes the changes will help improve older residential neighborhoods while encouraging tourism and construction.
