Incheon Offers Hope to Early-Onset Dementia Patients and Their Families
Incheon is leading the way in providing tailored support for individuals and families affected by early-onset dementia, delivering a message of hope to those facing the challenges of this condition.
Incheon is the first in the nation to operate a dedicated center exclusively for early-onset dementia, offering practical services that meet the specific needs of both patients and their caregivers.
Early-onset dementia, which occurs before the age of 65, often strikes during a person’s most socially and economically active years, creating significant disruptions. In response, the city is taking proactive steps by offering customized day-care programs, educational support, and initiatives that encourage social participation—ensuring meaningful, real-world assistance for those affected.
