인천광역시는 올해 10월 개최하는 제29차 세계한인경제인대회의 성공적인 개최를 위해 본격적인 준비에 착수했다고 밝혔습니다.
인천시는 지난해 10월 오스트리아 비엔나에서 열린 제28차 세계한인경제인대회에서 차기 개최 도시로 선정됐으며, 개최 도시의 시장은 공동대회장 자격으로 대회 전반에 적극 참여하게 됩니다.
10월 27일부터 30일까지 진행되는 이번 대회는 재외동포청 인천 개청 이후, 전 세계 재외동포 경제인 및 해외 바이어 2,000여 명이 모이는 최대 규모의 경제인 행사로서 전국 500여 수출중소기업이 참여하는 ‘Korea Business Expo Incheon’이 송도컨벤시아 전시장에서 함께 개최될 예정입니다.
Incheon Begins Full-Scale Preparations for the 29th World Korean Business Convention
Incheon has begun full-scale preparations for the successful hosting of the 29th World Korean Business Convention, scheduled to take place this October.
Incheon was selected as the next host city during the 28th convention held in Vienna, Austria, in October of last year. As the host city, the Mayor of Incheon will serve as a co-chair of the convention and actively participate in all aspects of the event.
Taking place from October 27 to 30, this year’s convention will be the largest economic event of its kind since the establishment of the Overseas Koreans Agency in Incheon.

민생 회복을 위한 정부 소비쿠폰 신청이 시작된 지 사흘째, 인천이 전국에서 가장 높은 신청률을 기록한 것으로 나타났습니다. 행정안전부가 어제(24일) 발표한 자료에 따르면 지난 21일부터 시작된 1차 소비쿠폰 신청에 인천에서는 전체 지급 대상자 302만여 명 가운데 136만5천여 명이 신청을 완료했습니다. 신청률은 45.21%로 전국 평균(42.46%)을 웃돌며 시·도 중 가장 높은 수치를 기록했습니다.

Incheon is moving forward with plans to support AI transformation (AX) for companies located in its Bupyeong and Juan national industrial complexes.
The city announced that it will apply by the end of this month for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s “AX Testbed Industrial Complex Project.”
If selected through the Ministry’s review process, the project will receive 14 billion KRW in government funding from this year through 2028.

콩쿠르는 송도국제도시 내 인천글로벌캠퍼스, 인천대학교, 트라이보울 3개 장소에서 동시에 개최댔으며, 외국인 참가자들은 송도 일대에서 4박 5일간 체류(총 900객실)하며 대회 참가와 함께 주요 관광지 방문, 쇼핑 등을 즐겼습니다.
Incheon Attracts 600 High-Value Special Interest Tour Through International Music Competition
Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization have successfully brought in 600 high-value special interest tour (SIT) through the jointly hosted "2025 Incheon International Music Competition," held over three days starting July 20.
This initiative is a direct outcome of the Incheon Tourism Exclusive Roadshow held in Guangzhou and Zhengzhou, China, in October 2023, where a memorandum of understanding was signed.
