Dementia-Friendly Cinema ‘Value Together Cinema’ Returns to Incheon in April


‘Value Together Cinema,’ Korea’s only dementia-friendly cinema where people with or without dementia can enjoy a movie together, is returning to Incheon on April 30.

Jointly operated by the Incheon Metropolitan Dementia Center, the Jung-gu and Dong-gu Dementia Relief Centers, and Mirim Theater, the program provides a safe and welcoming cultural space for dementia patients and their families.

Now in its fifth year, ‘Value Together Cinema’ holds regular screenings at Mirim Theater on the last Wednesday of each month.






Incheon to Host 103rd Children’s Day Celebration at Munhak Stadium on May 5


The Incheon Metropolitan Government announced that it will hold the 103rd Children’s Day celebration on May 5 at the east gate plaza of Munhak Stadium.

Under the theme “Global Incheon, Dreaming Children,” the event will offer a variety of activities for children and families to enjoy together.

Main events will include a commemorative ceremony, stage performances, and hands-on programs, creating fun and memorable experiences for children.






Incheon Extends COVID-19 Vaccination for High-Risk Groups Until June 30


Incheon City has extended the COVID-19 vaccination period for high-risk groups under the 2024–2025 campaign from the original deadline of April 30 to June 30.

The decision comes in response to recent trends showing increased COVID-19 cases not only in winter but also during the summer over the past three years.

Eligible individuals include high-risk groups who have not yet been vaccinated, as well as those whose immunity may have weakened over time despite previous vaccinations.





Incheon Launches On-Site Population Education for Students and Citizens Starting in May


The Incheon Metropolitan Government and the Incheon branch of the Planned Population Federation of Korea announced the launch of “On-Site Population Education” starting in May for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as citizens.

The program aims to raise awareness about demographic challenges such as low birthrates and aging, and to build social consensus on adapting to population changes.

Customized lessons will be provided based on participants’ age groups, and the program is open to students, university students, office workers, seniors, and other general citizens.
