Incheon Expands “Love Incheon Donation” Return Gifts from 13 to 34 ItemsThe Incheon Metropolitan City government has announced that the number of return gift items available through the Love Incheon Donation Program has expanded from 13 to 34.

Newly added products in the agricultural, marine, and processed food categories include marinated soy sauce crabs and Ganghwa kimchi, along with popular items like Ganghwa rice and seaweed from Jangbong Island. The traditional liquor lineup now features Geumpung Takju and Juyeonhyang, along with long-time favorite Samyangchun.

Other newly selected items include stainless steel knife sets, handmade soaps, and discount coupons for the Harbor Park Hotel, under the industrial goods, crafts, and tourism services categories.

The Love Incheon Donation Program is open to non-Incheon residents who wish to support the city through donations. Contributions help fund welfare, cultural programs, and youth support initiatives in Incheon.






Incheon City Launches Joint Crackdown on Vehicle IdlingIncheon Metropolitan City conducted a joint crackdown on vehicle idling with its districts and counties from March 24 to April 29 to raise public awareness about newly updated regulations.In June last year, the city revised its ordinance on vehicle idling restrictions, expanding the regulated areas to the entire city as of January 1 this year.Along with enforcement activities, the city actively promoted public awareness to help citizens understand the importance of the new regulation.






Korean Immigration History Museum Hosts Children’s Special Exhibition “Davnye Davno”The Korean Immigration History Museum in Incheon has opened a special exhibition for children titled Davnye Davno.The title, which means “Once upon a time” in Russian, introduces visitors to the world of Korean-Russian folktales under the theme of tradition, transformation, and blending of cultures. The exhibition features original illustrations from folktale books passed down among Koryoin (ethnic Koreans in the former Soviet Union).A museum official noted, “This exhibition is designed for both children and adults, offering a valuable opportunity to appreciate diverse cultures through the stories shared by the Koryoin community.”






Incheon Office of Education Hosts “Green Incheon Writing Contest” for Elementary StudentsThe Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education hosted the “Green Incheon Writing Contest” on April 26 at Incheon Grand Park, inviting local elementary school students to participate.The event was organized to promote carbon neutrality and ecological citizenship. Participating students submitted works in poetry, prose, and personal essays.An awards ceremony for outstanding entries will be held on June 5 at the Incheon Office of Education’s main conference room.An official from the Office of Education said, “This contest holds great significance, as it allows students to express their thoughts on ecological transformation and sustainable development through writing.”
